Chase really doesn't like to attach them, maybe customers get picky... I have no problem attaching them and sanding them.

One would be surprised at how the bat performs with blade handles that suit the hand better. That is why I have local blade maker Chase Bladecraft make handle pieces for me that are thicker than OEM handles.

I did not speak much of your strong points... I will keep it to serves... I normally see that players from your country at the amateur level tend to serve long nearly 100% and let opponent attack... and get into a fast hitting rally. I rarely see any attempt to serve short to mess up opponent...

Hey @h3llary , I will not write the wall of text... I could do this on your BH alone (your BH 1st shot is good, the next one(s) not so good - errors) You seem to be comfortable playing a style to allow opponent to open the point and take risks, maybe miss a shot, and you block or counter...

Hi @jk1980 , One thing off the top... if you want to return with underspin... do NOT wait for ball to come to you... you give opponent DOUBLE time and space to see things... and the touch is more difficult. STEP IN and TOUCH the ball near the bounce with little to no swing... control rebound...
  7. Punch Oriented Backhand Rubbers

I say all kind of sarcastic stuff on these kind of threads with obvious answers... I can say seriously that the bh rubber in my sig bat... Aurus Soft, can punch like a motor scooter on BH, often my BH hit is faster than many players' FH smashes.

I did not mention how far to swing... middle of strike zone is maybe 30 cm from body usually on left... not much follow through if any needed for hit or fast loop... more for medium loop and more follow through for slow heavy spin loop.

Yes. Learn leverage of elbow in front, upper arm forward and almost even to ground, little wrist preload, very little. On swing go forward with lower arm, let wrist go into ball at impact... tiny amount and FIRM up. This is the BH hit and the biomechanics are pretty much the same for all BH top...

Thanks @Jslick89 , like you, my friend here wants to use a ton of flippy floppy wrist on bh and it only gets in the way... plus he wants to over use the arm. one day he will get how to set the leverage to make it easy to use a short forearm and he will win a lot of points.

Had an exceptional night last night in Boston on my only match... played vs a decades long solid 2100+ player and after hitting edge of bat on 5 shots in game 1, reduced that to 2 per game :D This dude got serves and it looks like he isn't trying, simply smooth and control. I was finally able...

Next Level LIKES to put heavy topspin on the ball... it is the RIGHT kind of skill.
  15. Is it worth it to learn how to replace rubber yourself?

If you canopt assemble ur own bats, that will limit the number of rubbers you buy that you do not need... not such a bad thing.
  16. What is more profitable: regular reboosting a cheap Chinese rubbers or buying a Euro/Jap Hybrid?

Of course it costs less money to both purchase Chinese rubbers and to tune them. Will it be appropriate for what the OP does well? Well, the OP will need to test it for hiz-self. As for the value of older gen rubbers, I am with you. I personally use 15 yr old technology just fine on a blade...

Carl in a Trouble causing mood I see... I would say two things: 1 ... set your camera on right hand side of table... the player near the camera is blocking the view of nearly everything. 2 ... learn how to block... soft hand cover the ball near the bounce... this guy or ones like him will not...

Hi Gozo, Yes, he had an unfair advantage in that he served blatantly illegally and you did not. If it tough that you did not recognize it... it is always helpful to have knowledgeable friends handy watching to let you know this. Under ITTF laws of TT... AND many countries copy/paste versions it...
  20. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

As for the illegal serving... when you are playing, you are concentrating on the ball coming at you and not exactly some other stuff... so it may be difficult to see illegal servers serving illegally when you are in the match facing them... unless you stop all other stuff and look only at motion...
