  1. Beginner blade and rubbers

What's wrong with your current setup? I mean, it could be really good for learning technique and it's not too fast, and not that spin sensitive...
  2. What hurricane version to get?

It's a totally different rubber. The top sheet is more tacky and feels more like the Provincial/National versions of DHS Hurricane 3. The sponge isn't as bouncy as Big Dipper 1. It's quite hard and numb and for me to use it, it requires some boosting.
  3. What hurricane version to get?

Are you boosting your rubbers or not? If Not. Check out Sanwei - Target National. It's faster and harder than Hurricane 3, and gives a lower throw. If you boost. The Yinhe - Big Dipper Pro or National could be something. They are quite hard and rigid but come alive with booster. Yinhe - Jupiter...
  4. Thin Chinese inverted rubbers for chopping?

I just recalled that the German brand Pimplepark have a tacky, soft rubber with as thin as 1.0mm sponge. The name is "Epos". This could absolutely work.
  5. First Hurricane attempt

I would try it unboosted first to see if you need additional boosting or not. Hard to say what fits you best. The rubber will most certainly work well with both types of blades. It's your preferences that should help you decide what would suit you best. Not much help there perhaps :)
  6. Thin Chinese inverted rubbers for chopping?

I'm not a chopper, but I've tried a bit and the best I found is the Giant Dragon - Submarine. It's available in 1.5/2.0mm. Really good control, tacky, but not that spinny and not sensitive to incoming spin.
  7. When to change equipment?

Yep. I think you should have a more linear rubber on backhand and go for the Vega Pro on FH as it feels better. Just keep the blade. Check out something slower like Yinhe - Mercury III Euro or 729 - Phoenix for backhand. Cheap rubbers with a really soft feel, and they are linear, so you can work...
  8. When to change equipment?

I think you should stay with your current setup and work on your technique and foot work, because that's your bottle neck right now. Carbon blades isn't by default faster and less controllable, but certain rubbers combined with play style fits better with stiffer blades, and carbon blades are...
  9. Table tennis setup for high level beginner

Rakza 7 might be good, but perhaps a more linear, softer rubber might be even better to develop proper technique and you may save some money as well. Check these out. These are all moderate speed, grippy, untacky, softer rubbers and easy to play with. 729 - Aurora Max, Soft Yinhe - Mercury III...
  10. TT11 Now sells Yinhe!

I feel that they are quite similar. Tried both on backhand, and both in M- hardness. Moon Speed 53 Euro is a bit harder and faster and might be a better choice for forehand. I've put out some first purely unscientific impressions to them here https://www.facebook.com/CHTTSweden :)
  11. TT11 Now sells Yinhe!

Thank you :) Yes. I have used the original BD for about 6-7 years now, and haven't had a bad rubber at any time, so these are quite good. I only got the 39deg for now as all others was out of stock.
  12. TT11 Now sells Yinhe!

Yes the quality is really fine, and the blue sponge is quite different from the Pro versions orange. I felt that it needs some booster to really come alive, and it's some more layers than H3 needs.
  13. Shrink free transfer of rubbers ?

I'd use some booster. It wont make the rubber that different. Better than a too small rubber that will act a bit different because of the shrinkage.
  14. Bring your own tt-balls to the club?

My club provides balls. Never a problem.
  15. Friendship 729 battle 3

BD? Yinhe - Big Dipper? Check out Loki - Rxton IX 39deg. It's not a hybrid, but a Chinese rubber with quite elastic top sheet.
  16. First blade for beginner+. Help choose and advice.

Hard to say. But you say beginner, and have played with these quite hard, tacky rubbers and wants to change it completely to quite soft, bouncy rubbers? This might ruin the technique you've built up before... I know that pre-mades might have less good rubbers than the original ones, and Rxton V...
  17. What is softest sponge of Loki rubber.

Yep. T3 Speed is the softest...
  18. Tip for backhand rubber (current rubber rakza 7)

Joola Dynaryz ACC demands very little swing to perform a really spinny backhand loop. Good control properties in this rubber as well, and it's not as bouncy like many other tensor rubbers.
  19. Modern "classic" rubbers

Rubbers that will fit nice in this description are: 729 - Dragon L Pimplepark - Attaxx Speed Sanwei - Target 90 (Semi tacky) Yinhe- Big Dipper (Semi tacky) 729 - Presto Max Spin 729 - Presto Max Speed Sanwei - Gear Hyper Check them out and I think you'll find something you like :)
