  1. PF4 Rubber

Sometime there's a huge difference between the rubbers glued on a pre-made bat and a single rubber of the same brand and model. I don't know what they have done to them, but the difference could be like this. Bat rubber: Speed 3/10, Spin 3/10, Control 8/10, untacky, different sponge thickness...
  2. Mizuno Wave Drive 9 in Larger Sizes

Yep. My son have them in 39 EU and usually use 40-40.5 EU size on other shoes.
  3. What Glue?

Any table tennis glue. I use TT Revolution No.3 glue as I find it to not dry until I'm finished smearing it out, and it's really easy to peel off.
  4. Amazing match to watch

Yes I've seen a couple of them around here the last years. It's popular to build like this and you get more space when you need it.
  5. If you are a coach. What equipment would you recommend for beginners?

We usually recommend a blade like Sanwei - Accumulator S and a 2-pack of Sanwei - T88-III Training rubbers for most beginners. It's an allround wooden blade and rubbers with enough speed and spin to start developing technique. When you find bottle necks in this composition, it's easy to just...
  6. 1-ply Hinoki with sticky rubber?

You could try something like 729 - Aurora Max. Untacky. Only available in one thickness though. Pimplepark - Bloxx is tacky, very Chinese like and made in 1.4/1.7/1.9/2.1mm. Yinhe - Mercury II, Soft. Tacky. Also in one thickness, but more slowish. Pimplepark - Epos is tacky and really soft, and...
  7. Under $5 rubbers

They can alter the tackiness any way they want to. Just look at the difference between 729 - Battle and 729 - Battle Max Pro. Battle is totally untacky and Battle Max Pro is super tacky, and still have the same ITTF approval number.
  8. Feedback on my loops against backspin

Like ck1407 said. You'll have to use the wrist better in both BH and FH, and put some more power and speed into these strokes. Like Carl mentioned. The robot gives you weird balls too, so it would be much better with a human opponent to get the "flow" in playing. When working with turning...
  9. Xiom Tau II

Well. It's here in EU for a while back :) https://chtt.se/en/varumarken/xiom/xiomgummi/xiom-tau-ii But it's not cheap though.
  10. Pricey Hybrids or Accesible Chinese

Yes correct https://chtt.se/en/varumarken/yinhe/yinhegummi/yinhe-big-dipper-pro :) Yes it might need some time to break in or perhaps a re-glue makes some difference. It's harder and slower. Unboosted it isn't that fun, but not H3 either of course. But the Big Dipper Pro needs a little more...
  11. Building a custom TT paddle as a beginner

Giant Dragon - Submarine is also a really nice defensive rubber. It's slow, tacky and not that spinny. Works good for blocking and chopping. Superb control.
  12. what is speed and booster glue?

This LOKI speed glue looks a bit like the Haifu Whale or Dolphin glues in view and in description. If it's similar, it's not a really good glue, so I would recommend using a waterbased glue to attach the rubber. It might be more of a fast booster with much shorter time of effect, so you use this...
  13. Help with DHS Skyline

I think as a total beginner Skyline rubbers might be hard to use, especially when coming from a softer rubber like Karate Soft. It all depends on how you play and how good your technique is, so it's really hard to say. If your current setup works good for you, don't change too much, or you have...
  14. Pricey Hybrids or Accesible Chinese

Big Dipper Pro does not have blue sponge, but this is a totally different rubber than the original Big Dipper. Do you mean the original Big Dipper in black? It has blue sponge. The red one has yellow sponge. Never heard of this problem with them and I've used about 30 pcs of them over the last...
  15. Pricey Hybrids or Accesible Chinese

Check out LOKI - Rxton IX 39deg (a bit more expensive) or Yinhe - Big Dipper 38/39deg.
  16. Thinking about switching to DHS Hurricane 3

I think that DHS Hurricane 3 is quite different from Mark V, but it doesn't have to be bad. If you want the Chinese tacky/grippy rubber with a bit softer feel, check out Yinhe - Big Dipper 38/39deg or 729 - Dragon F or perhaps LOKI - Rxton IX 39deg. If your backhand works ok with Mark V, then...
  17. Need help for my second bat

I can't really say if you can handle a faster carbon blade with a faster, bouncier backhand rubber than you are used to, but as said before it's good not to change too much at the same time. Like lodro says. There are lots of really good Chinese carbon blades for much less money than the...
  18. Seeking Advice on Equipment Upgrade

I would say that Moon Pro Hard is quite hard to handle for a backhand rubber when you haven't played that long. Mercury 2 is a bit more lively rubber than Super FX to me, and I can generate more spin with the Mercury 2, but everyone's different. Like I wrote above. Check out 729 - Focus III...
  19. Seeking Advice on Equipment Upgrade

Like Brozi mentioned above. Go with the Mercury II on forehand and practice your technique, looping with full arm swing. Really practice your foot work so you get it all right. Vega Intro might be good. I haven't tried it. Otherwise check out softer rubbers like 729 - Focus III Snipe 42deg or...
  20. Choosing between two setups

I think you should go with the Clipper until it becomes a bottle neck for you. The Yinhe Pro 01 is quite fast. I had problems controlling this one with my LOKI Rxton IX 40.5deg and it works much better with a tiny bit slower blade like Yinhe V14 Pro or Yinhe 970XX K.
