As much of a macho man that is @Jslick89 ... that cat would do a lot better with a slower blade and softer modern dynamic rubbers... and loosen his grip sum moar, and receive serves sum moar... ...but what the heck, many a cat cracked 2000 USATT rating without being good at any of that. They...
  2. Waldner uses Bluestar A1

Of course Dan usually puts out his own threads on these vids with pros... but I can say one damn thing right now. This vid is EINFACH EPIC. PERIOD.

Played with the blade Chase gave to Sergey Scoobie Doo... he had put K1 on the FH... I showed up to the table cold and the first five high bat speed opening loops I tried in the knockup were knockouts. Chase made the blade to be kinda close in purpose to the Donic Ovtcharov Carbon... this blade...

My metro area is terrible, no full time club and the 30 mile drive to Russian Church for the only reliable action for training and doubles is 45 min to one hour driving - lots of city street driving.
  5. Waldner uses Bluestar A1

Gozo has Bluestorm Z3 on a Donic Persson Power Play blade written all over him, but nah, he would never get the courage to commit to such an appropriate setup for 6 months and develop feel and spin... The major traditional marketers got that lad by hiz gonads I say. :D
  6. Schlager video describing Glayzer, Glayzer 09C and Rozena

Yes, unlikely, but the point is, there is much more potential a change when one changes rubbers with same blade than blades with same rubber.

  8. Schlager video describing Glayzer, Glayzer 09C and Rozena

Hi Piligrim... if someone used T05 on that Infinity you described for a few years, then must use T05 on one of those super ZLC money pit blades, it is still not even 1/2 as fierce a change as changing H3 to T05FX on same blade. Would be an even larger change to start using 2.0 sponged short...
  9. Schlager video describing Glayzer, Glayzer 09C and Rozena

Here is where Schlager is right. (in German he would "Have" right instead of being right hehe) If you play a few years with the same rubbers... on the same blade and you have a reasonable amount of "feel" or "touch" and fundamentals... then when you change the blade and keep the same rubbers...

There are a gazillion ways to play pips, but everyone already said the important stuff... you have to PROBE and see what that particular LP player can does and the tendencies... then handle it. It is not like LPs are gunna offensively overpower you... it is a matter of individually learning...
  11. A pathetic situation?

Lets go back to those who stay with it and overcome... which nearly all who have strong parents and support seem to do. Try to get health insurance in USA and lookup the list of authorized doctors for whatever HMO or authorized primary care providers... literally 2/3-3/4 of them of Asian...
  12. A pathetic situation?

blahness, you will never hear me ever speak favorably of "Affirmative Action" programs. Such a program seeks to make an equal outcome through racism and discrimination... which is tried and true marxist play to divide people and achieve/maintain power. You will never hear me speak favorably of...

The most conservative and safe way to handle heavy topspin incoming balls is to get the bat close to the bounce with a loose grip (and close the bat the right amount). Next conservative way is a step plus away from table, very short swing, allow ball to come to strike zone, close bat and loose...
  14. A pathetic situation?

I focused nearly exclusively on parenting... and there are examples where some make it without that. Of course the kid has to do the work and keep at it... but if you get a large number of kids... and give one set of them strong parents, and have one set of them do whatever they want all their...
  15. A pathetic situation?

I would argue that there are huge advantages, but there are some discriminatory things they have to overcome... which nearly all do. The advantage is strong parenting... BOTH parents supportive, sacrificing, providing vision, and doing every damn thing possible to make the kid successful...
  16. Most reliable and long-lasting non-tacky rubbers other than Butterfly.

Tibhar Aurus by a mile. Lasts 300 hrs easily, my friend in 2010 would get my 300 hr used sheets and use them another 300 hrs. Maybe the longest lasting is Yasaka A. Power. That sucka lasts 4 Eva.
  17. Which rubber to pair my Viscaria?

Hmm... MX-P is already decently insensitive to incoming spin on light impacts after it is 2 weeks old. MX-P 50 has a harder sponge, try that out. If you think MX-P is very spin sensitive, you REALLY gunna hate on the more modern and popular rubbers big time. if you are babying the return of...
  18. A pathetic situation?

I will make a lot of comments that support some of the stuff you are saying here, especially at the end. (after I qualify some things) The formula all people, groups, and nations have used to gain economic and social success in USA is SKILLS, HARD WORK, and SAVINGS. Skills are marketable...
  19. Which rubber to pair my Viscaria?

Yasaka A. Power would be less bouncy.
  20. A pathetic situation?

In USA, Asians have the lowest rates of fatherlessness at birth. Asian parents who adhere to their former culture enforce strict discipline and leadership have their children in the best positions to succeed when they become adults. The Asian parents in USA who are losing such culture and do...
