I've ordered from them a few times now. They've been great so far, fast delivery, no issues.

I love Xiom and what they bring out, but as the years have rolled on I find it very hard to put my finger on their marketing approach. They have great products (Omega V is one of my all-time favorite ranges, so I'm super-excited for VII of course), but I don't expect a great deal of sense.

Ultimately, I've found tt-spin.de to be a reliable source of info over the years. They reported (in Nov 2017, citing Xiom Europe as a source) a Dec 2017 release for Asia, March/April 2018 for Europe. And as things stand today, this is what's actually happened in the real world, away from forum...

Thanks all. Presports have added images to their facebook page which usually means they will list in the next day or two. I've put an order in at iruiru though, so we'll see how that goes.

Hokay. I think it might be best to say simply that none of the larger suppliers in Europe seem to have it yet, so if anyone hears anything to counter that then please speak up for the sake of European customers.

Not to be too down on Xiom (they're great, and they've supplied some of the best ESN rubbers IMO), but it wouldn't shock me if they were trying to generate a bit of extra hype by throttling supply. If so, it's working so fair enough. But it could just be that they can't get enough made (I'm...

To be honest, no. Not until you said it. I presume that, as a supplier, you know something? Have you asked them? Or are you just assuming because you've been able to get stock? What I've based it on is the early reports from sites like this...

Yes, but you're not in Europe. Xiom are specifically staggering the supply by zone. None of the major, official suppliers in Europe have it yet.

Unfortunately, it doesn't look like Xiom are releasing to all markets simultaneously. Omega VII isn't available in Europe yet, for example.

$45 over at ttnpp now.

I can moan about things that are practically subatomic. It's a talent. The only price I've found for Pro so far is 350HKD, where K1+ was 250 and K1 220. That's a 40% mark up! It's still fine of course. More of an indicator that the originals were such great value.

The original K1 was $25. I think we'll be paying for all the extra acronyms Tibhar have injected into the Pro version.

Also, from the images of Golden Tango shared at the OOAK forum, GT's sponge isn't very porous at all - it's quite solid. Whereas the K1 range have used large-pore sponges. One downside is that K1 and K1+ were both really cheap. I have a feeling K1 Pro will be more expensive.

Not that I heard. I saw it on his bat during a replay of his serve. After T2, he was back to his usual rubber for the next ittf open. So the theory is that he did it purposely for marketing reasons, but that's just speculation.

Samsonov did use K1 at T2APAC though. So there is that. And Google isn't great at translating a query into Asian character sets, so you won't be seeing the full set of results for Korea, China etc. For western audiences, it's chicken/egg. If the main webstores carried it, you'd be hearing...

Sure, sure. It would be a bit odd to change direction at this stage of the product line, but stranger things have happened. What gives it away imo (about the tackiness) is the off colour area around the logos on the top sheet. You get that with tacky esn rubbers, and you can see it in the...

No, because this will be tacky, and with a 52 degree sponge. Looking forward to this. Many thanks to the OP for the images!

Many thanks, I've passed this on to him!

Yup. It's a bit (double) fishy.

My last ttnpp order took 4 days to arrive. Best I've ever had from them.
