  1. Best racket (blade + rubbers) for an offensive intermediate player close to the table

The TSP Regalis Red is a quite light rubber (42g cut for me) in Max sponge. I tried it for my backhand, but it felt too fast for me. A bit softer rubbers are TSP Ventus Soft, TSP Ventus Spin. These two are a bit slow, but works really fine with forehand looping game. Tibhar Aurus Sound is very...
  2. Best backhand rubber

Yep. I use this now after testing 729 Focus III Snipe, DHS TinArc 3, Yasaka Rakza 7 Soft, Tibhar Aurus Sound, Yasaka Rigan, TSP Ventus Spin. The TSP Ventus Soft is really nice. Very soft sponge, but not that slow. :)
  3. Problems with Ali battleship store

I ordered from Ali Battleship in beginning of March, and it arrived in the beginning of June. So three months isn't strange in these times. Otherwise it use to take about 3-5 weeks for me in Sweden.
  4. Hurricane 8- lost lot of tackiness

I have used Chinese tacky rubbers for several years now. The H8 is usually very tacky at first. More than H3 NEO I think. The H3 NEO keeps it's tackiness a bit better than H8 after a couple of months play, but not by much. Just clean it with water in a simple spray bottle (one push) and swipe it...
  5. Any experience with these two rubbers??

I have used the Apollo 5 for a while. It's a tacky Chinese rubber with quite hard sponge. It's not really like DHS H3N, Skyline NEO or Yinhe Big Dipper. It's good for brush looping, and it's better in more fast flat hitting scenarios than the earlier mentioned rubbers. Works very fine far from...
  6. Please suggest a backhand rubber with less catapult effect than Rakza 7 soft

Yes that's a bit strange. A lot of people think that R7S is quite light weight, I had two pieces of them. I didn't react so much when I used them, but when I tried other rubbers like Tibhar Aurus Sound and TSP Ventus Soft, I felt the difference. My Rakzas were in Max, but so where the TAS and...
  7. Please suggest a backhand rubber with less catapult effect than Rakza 7 soft

Hi. I use to buy them on Aliexpress. Works just fine, and cheap. https://www.aliexpress.com/store/1953652
  8. A Chinese rubber: first blood :)

Yep. Me too. Great smell :)
  9. Please suggest a backhand rubber with less catapult effect than Rakza 7 soft

I've been searching for a good backhand rubber as well. Like "TryHard" I really like 729 Focus III Snipe. It comes in 42, 44 and 46 sponge hardness. The H42 is really soft. These rubbers are not tacky at all and not that spin sensitive. The durability isn't that great. You'll need to change them...
  10. Best Non Chinese Rubber for brush looping?

A softer, non tacky rubber that works is the 729 Focus III Snipe. Try it in the 44 or 46 hardness. Ok It's Chinese, but works good and the sponge is soft. Sponge hardness is 42/44/46. H44 works on both forehand and backhand (for me). It's very light as well, and has good control.
  11. Best Non Chinese Rubber for brush looping?

I agree here. Even though Chinese. Big Dipper feels like a DHS Skyline NEO TG2, but it's a bit more control with the same amount of spin and tackiness. I never played a Euro/Jap rubber where I feel that the brushing works any good at all...
  12. Chinese rubbers

Chinese rubbers (hard, tacky ones) like DHS Hurricane 3 NEO, is perfect for brush looping. The harder sponge, the more aggressive style you should play (according to me). These rubbers are very linear. What you give is what you get. To play optimal you'll have to really work hard, bend your...
  13. Why do you play table tennis?

They are renovating my club now and will do so for some weeks on. I caught myself glancing at the dinner table the other day. It's like an addiction (in a good way). I've only played for four years now as grown up, but everytime the training session ends, I'm just waiting for the next session :)...
  14. Best Aliexpress value products - Thread

Sure. I could agree for OFF-, but it's a tiny bit faster than my Stiga Allround Wood. I have also used 729 L-3. This is a bit faster than the V-6. The 729 Z-1 is even faster than the L-3. It looks like you can't find the V-6 everywhere any more. Perhaps it has been taken out of production. Any...
  15. Best Aliexpress value products - Thread

This 729 V-6 blade is really nice. Not that fast that it's marked for (OFF+). It's more like (All+). https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32650596266.html?spm=2114.12010612.8148356.41.15d65819TXNG2f
  16. Best Aliexpress value products - Thread

Perhaps it has to do with the release of Stiga DNA?
  17. Advice on Friendship 729 Focus 3 Snipe and Yinhe MC-2

Yes. I found them at aliexpress.com. I prefer the AliBattleship store. It has worked fine for me.
  18. Advice on Friendship 729 Focus 3 Snipe and Yinhe MC-2

Well. I like big dipper. Its easier to lift the ball when looping and gives you better control. If you are more aggressive and hits the ball earlier, perhaps a h3n with Hard sponge H41 would be great for you
  19. Advice on Friendship 729 Focus 3 Snipe and Yinhe MC-2

I have tried both DHS Hurricane 3 & 2 NEO, DHS Skyline TG2 NEO and some Yinhe rubbers (Big Dipper, Apollo V and Saturn Pro). F3S is a much more controllable rubber and the spin is not that great. Yinhe Big Dipper is quite like the DHS Hurricane/Skyline NEO series, but with a little more control...
  20. Advice on Friendship 729 Focus 3 Snipe and Yinhe MC-2

I think the softest focus 3 Snipe with the 42 sponge is too slow for forehand, but the 44 and 46 sponge works fine for forehand. My opinion of course :)
