  3. Beginner equipment for my 8 year old daughter

Hi. What I think would work for about 90% of all newbies is som kind of allround blade like the Yasaka Sweden Classic, Stiga Allround Classic or perhaps a cheaper one Yinhe 896. Quite soft, light weight rubbers without tensor effect for learning the strokes fully. Many younger players in my use...
  4. Yinhe Big Dipper 4

Hi. I've used the original Big Dipper (mostly 38 deg hardness) for a couple of years, and tried Big Dipper 4 this summer. Huge disappointment. It feels like the original Big Dipper, but without the speed and spin. My usual training partner had the time of his life returning my loops easily when...
  5. Yinhe/Galaxy Big Dipper II ?

Sorry. I haven't tried or heard of it before. I bought the Big Dipper IV, and it was no good at all compared to the Original Big Dipper. Perhaps this is a similar kind of rubber...?

  7. Ventus Soft

    Ventus Soft

Ventus Soft is an ultra-soft, high-prcision and fun-to-play offensive rubber offering excellent control. When designing Ventus Soft, The TSP rubber experts relied on the "Optimized Rotation Concept" and developed one of the softest and most controllable sponges in the offensive segment. Sponge...
  8. Nittaku Sieger PK50

    No. I don't. :)
  9. Nittaku Sieger PK50

I think in short. The Skyline TG2 NEO is a lot like H3N, but a bit more controllable and a little bit slower. Big Dipper is great. Similar to Skyline, but It feels lighter, and the trajectory isn't so long. A bit more feeling. Perhaps not as good as H3N in brush loops, but goot enough and you...
  10. Nittaku Sieger PK50

I bought this Sieger in hope that it would play similar to DHS Hurricane 3 NEO, with some difference that would work in my favour. :) Well it turned out that it didn't. My copy is a red one with 2.0mm sponge (Super Thick) ;). Lately I have tried DHS Hurricane 3 NEO, DHS Skyline TG2 NEO, Yinhe...
  11. Hurricane 3 MEGA THREAD

A small spray bottle with water. Use very little. And a normal cleaning sponge (don't use the rough side). Do this a couple of times even during training/games and put it in a plastic bag after. This keeps my sticky rubbers sticky for years...
  12. Hurricane 3 MEGA THREAD

Yeah. I found the H8 quite sticky as well, and I got it in a big variation of weights. My last one was a 2.15mm 39 deg, and cut to a normal blade it weighed 53g, when most of H3N lies between 45-50g. The H2N is even a bit lighter than H3N in my experience, but only a few grams then...
  13. Table Tennis Equipment on Ali Express

Chinese Pingpong (Aliexpress) has it, and they always sent me good products. Else. Check out Pingmaster in Italy. Good prices for most things, but there's a postage fee of course...

  15. not confortable at backhand

I would suggest going with Yinhe Big Dipper H38, Yinhe Moon Pro Hard or DHS Skyline TG2 NEO 2.15 H39 for forehand. If you like DHS Hurricane 3, but want a more controlled rubber. These are perhaps better for you. Nice rubbers for backhand could be TSP Ventus Soft or TSP Ventus Spin. Quite light...
  16. Hurricane 3 neo

Nah. Red and black doesn't differ at all :)
  17. Big Dipper

4 out of 5 rating for Big Dipper I'm using this 2.2mm H38 Red version on forehand on a 729 V6 blade. I usually have a DHS Hurricane 3 NEO 2.2mm H38 on my forehand, but lately I'm starting to loop too long with this. Perhaps more often when playing on hard wooden floors etc. So I tried this...
  18. Big Dipper

Review by 'mocker88' on item 'Big Dipper'

I'm using this 2.2mm H38 Red version on forehand on a 729 V6 blade. I usually have a DHS Hurricane 3 NEO 2.2mm H38 on my forehand, but lately I'm starting to loop too long with this. Perhaps more often when playing on hard wooden floors etc. So I tried this instead. It's almost as spinny as the...
  19. Horrible experience by using DHS Skyline TG 3 Neo in Stiga Rosewood NCT VII

Sure there are faster Chinese rubbers like DHS Hurricane 3 Neo H41, Yinhe Apollo 5 and Yinhe Moon Pro Hard. But you can't compare these with Euro/Jap rubbers like Mantra or Butterfly rubbers. When playing Chinese rubbers, you'll have to move more and use your whole arm to get the power out of...
  20. Best racket (blade + rubbers) for an offensive intermediate player close to the table

Two quite good lightweight rubbers are 61 Second Lightning DS (1,5mm-2,2mm) (H36-38) and 729 Presto Spin/Speed (2,1mm) (H42-44). 61 Second Lightning DS is a bit softer and a bit tacky. 729 Presto is non-tacky and has a "Macro porous sponge" that makes it a bit faster. Really nice looping rubber.
