  1. New 729 BATTLE MAX PRO?

Ok. Thank you. We'll see about the placebo in a couple of weeks I guess :)
  2. New 729 BATTLE MAX PRO?

I'm using Battle II Provincial 40 deg now and I think it's really nice. I have just ordered a Gold in 40 deg. Have you tried both out, so you can compare?
  3. Switch to Chinese rubbers?

Then perhaps, the arm doesn't have to be that strong. I guess when your body turns, it catapults your arm and gives it enough speed to perform good enough?
  4. Switch to Chinese rubbers?

Yep. That's my opinion as well. When you hit right, H3N gives a better kick than all other Chinese rubbers I've tried so far...
  5. Switch to Chinese rubbers?

It's just my opinion. I have tried many Chinese rubbers on several different types of blades. The blades that the, ex DHS Hurricane 3 41 deg, have worked best on for me is always stiffer ALC or ordinary carbon blades. I tried the Nittaku Sieger PK50 (that I thought could be a bit like H3N)...
  6. Switch to Chinese rubbers?

If you want a smoother transition, go for Yinhe Big Dipper 38 deg or something like that. I think that's a good rubber on the way to DHS Hurricane 3 41 deg. In my opininon, the harder Chinese rubbers demand a stiffer carbon blade to get the full potential out of 'em.
  7. Homemade sticky rubber cleaner?

Yep. Water and a smooth cleaning sponge...
  8. Tenergy and cheap chinese non tacky rubber

Hi. I don't think you can compare speed and spin between, for ex. Tenergy 05 and Yinhe Moon Pro Hard. Tenergy is a tensor rubber, where you get some "help" from the sponge so you don't have to do the full-body-strokes like with Chinese rubbers. The Yinhe Moon Pro is a linear rubber, where you...
  9. Yinhe pro 13s, good concept but is it worth to try ?

I've been using several Yinhe blades, and they have all been good. If you'll try Yinhe Moon Pro, see to get the "Hard" version and not the "Medium" one. The "Hard" comes domed out of the package, and the "Medium" doesn't and is no good at all.
  10. Chinese rubbers and fitting blades on a budget

Yes. You are right. Everything depends on how you play the game, and everyone is different :) I might try Vega China. I'm checking revspin.net, and there are two Vega China. One VH and one VM. Is this some mistake, or what version do you recommend?
  11. Chinese rubbers and fitting blades on a budget

I'd wish TTD would do a proper thorough test with many Chinese type of rubbers, and play with them as they should be played with. You don't use the same technique with Dignics as you do with H3N, so they probably should hire a couple of Chinese type of players to do the testing :)
  12. Chinese rubbers and fitting blades on a budget

Ok. Thank you. Then it's not an exact science then? Yeah. I got the Battle II Provincial, but I don't user booster for better or worse :) I think it works fine for me as it is. Yes. If the top sheet is softer, like the Nittaku Zieger PK50, it gives a totally different feel and effect.
  13. Chinese rubbers and fitting blades on a budget

So... Interesting. Butterfly Dignics 05 is 40 deg Shore A, and Andro Rasanter R53 is 53 deg Shore O. Then these two sponges should be the same hardeness?
  14. Chinese rubbers and fitting blades on a budget

Nice video :) I can see that you have nice spin in your Bloom Power. I've tried Bloom Speed 45 deg, but that one felt a bit slower, and numb when I compare it to H3N for example. But Bloom Power should be a better rubber in many ways what I understand.
  15. Chinese rubbers and fitting blades on a budget

Yep. It doesn't get any cheaper than a Yinhe blade for €20 and Chinese rubbers for €20 each, retaining good playing quality. The thing is probably that I've become a bit anti-Butterfly :) mainly because of the price difference. Many players are led into the Tenergy and Dignics line, because they...
  16. Chinese rubbers and fitting blades on a budget

The price isn't that important. I'm just after to get the most quality possible out of my money. I'm not so eager to go Dignics or Tenergy. There must be an alternative that could work for under half the price, or perhaps I'm wrong and the Butterflies are worth the price :) I've tried a lot of...
  17. Chinese rubbers and fitting blades on a budget

Well. I can agree there. I'm no high level player, but not that low either. I just believe that if I can control the game as much as I can I would benefit from this, and my style is offensive mostly brush looping when able to get in the position to do so. It demands a lot of work, but it's the...
  18. Chinese rubbers and fitting blades on a budget

I'm playing with Chinese rubbers on forehand since four years (when I took table tennis up again). These years has been a long hunt for the perfect match, rubber to blade. And as a twist, I like to have a softer tensor-like rubber on my backhand. I try to play as offensive as I can, brush...
  19. New 729 BATTLE MAX PRO?

Looks lite it's the Battle I top sheet (27-006), but I haven't tried that one out.
  20. Hurricane 3 neo

I have used 38-41 deg Commercial Hurricane 3 NEO. The harder sponge, the more possibility you have to make it harder for your opponent. But it demands more from your skill and speed as well. Recently I bought a 729 Battle II Provincial, 40deg. After four sessions and a competition I can say that...
