  1. My setup feels like a literal ROCK after trying this one

Wing got it right, the combo you selected is a no-brainer dead feel for what you seem to want to be doing. Just about any middle of the road low OFF blade with soft, modern dynamic rubbers would feel 5000% better than what you selected. There is always the trade market and you could get enough...
  2. How Did I Win or Lose a Match?

I just HAD to toss in that word negotiate, couldn't help myself. However, this WILL have an impact in LDM7's TT pinga ponga as he will have full mobility and be in a much better mental state for every TT appearance he makes.

LDM7 has recently negotiated through some persistent difficulties to upgrade his game. He might tell you all about it or not.
  4. blade is too head-heavy for me - any tipps?

Wing, If you look at a picture of Der_Echte, you would immediately come away with the impression of an over-the-hill 55+ washed-out way overweight XXL joker who would not be able to lift the weight of a fly or move the width of an ant... but I wield a 200-210 gram bat consistently and get to...
  5. blade is too head-heavy for me - any tipps?

Everyone knows Der_Echte's preference for heavy, solid blades with LOW balance point... and hiz inclination towards adding weight to the handle if the weight and balance are "wrong". Everything depends on the swing, the biomechanics, and the impact. One could benefit from head heavy, neutral...

  9. Next area to focus on improvement

There are a gazillion things at your level to improve, but one of the fundamentals I did not hear you articulate having trained much is FOOTWORK. 10. How Did I Win or Lose a Match?

Next Level makes great points about quality and consistency. I explained to LDM7 that one simply will not greatly improve quality over a short time... that is a slow improvement mission. I explained that one considers what one wants to go for in training... whether that is to go for high...
  11. How Did I Win or Lose a Match?

LDM7 will likely reply soon... total over two hours... let's say this was a very physical, exerting night. Next Level has been reading Walt Wiliams and Thomas Sowell again I see. If he hasn't, I'll send over the books. Why the heck did I say what I said? Those two gents are always reasonable. Richie and anyone struggling with hitting high balls out. A couple things usually go wrong. Position not...
