  2. stiga's new blade - celero wood

Oh yeah, it does say october. Well it should be very soon then. Hmm. I might wait for a bit then. As I am thinking of buying the stiga infinty VPS but if that is coming out now then it might be an option.
  3. stiga's new blade - celero wood

Is there a date for its release?
  4. My Forehand technique - critique

I am not an expert but when you are spinning I believe that you would like to hear less of the clicking sound so not like slamming the shots but brushing the ball if you know what I mean.
  5. New rubbers

Russel, just wondering, what city is it that u are talking about? It would be nice if you would have created your own thread.
  6. New rubbers

I have been playing for 5 years with the first two years just for fun. Have u played with the normal Vega europe? Is the DF much faster? Also how would you compare the vega japan to Vega asia DF speed wise? I could try to record a video sometime. There are two players in my club with pimples and...
  7. New rubbers

Hi all, I have kind of started this conversation in the blade sub forum but I think that the convo about the rubbers has a better place which is here. So I would like to get new rubbers as you might have guessed from the title. I have been using the vega europe (BH) and vega japan (FH) for a...
  8. New Blade

I had training today and what I have noticed, not only today, that even though my forehand is quite good. If there is someone with pimples or who can do heavy back spin, I cant pick up the ball often and consistently. Maybe I would benefit from a slower forehand rubber than the xiom vega japan...
  9. New Blade

I see ok. So for now my options are, MX-p (FH) or Omega V Europe/Pro? (FH), vega europe Df (BH) and then lastly for the blade, korbel, primorac or something similar.
  10. New Blade

I know u like some GREAT BANTER Carl but on a serious note, what do u think of the stiga infinity vps v and about the MX-p?
  11. New Blade

I have also heard quite good things about the Stiga blades, like I know the infinity VPS V is an OFF blade, but is it really that much faster than like the stratus powerwood? About the rubbers, what about the Vega Europe DF for the backhand as it is supposed to be more for the plastic ball...
  12. New Blade

Petr Korbel? Hmm, interesting choice. About using japan for BH compared to Europe, I have tried that before to be fair. I have prefered the europe on BH as I prefer the soft feel for the BH, also as my backhand is not as good as my forehand, but getting much better now, I dont like the fast...
  13. New Blade

Yeah, Im back. Haha. Its hard to say about the primorac if I felt it is faster as I have different rubbers on it which, in theory were slower. I like the quite fast feel of the japan. I actually am thinking of maybe getting the Omega V. But, back to the blade. I dont really have a price range if...
  14. New Blade

Hi all, I am planning on buying myself a new blade :) Had my bat for over a year but I would like a change. My previous blades have been the primorac off-, some halmark blade or some company with similar name, ans my current blade is tibhar stratus power wood. I have prefered, the primorac...
  15. Need help chosing equipment

Firstly. What have you used in the past. Can you loop well. How good is your technique. Do you play close/mid/far from the table?
  16. £350 Butterfly blades. Why so expensive?

Well agreed then ;) Viscaria is a good quite popular blade however I believe even for that the price could be smaller.
  17. £350 Butterfly blades. Why so expensive?

Yeah because some one is that stupid to pay £900 for a used when a new one is £100 ;) I would not buy a blade which costs £350. You also are paying for the name.
  18. Set-up

It's not that I don't want advice. As I do. And I have considered what people said.
  19. Set-up

I know what you mean. I only used OFF-/OFF blades so I don't really wanna go to OFF+ so the Viscaria or carbonado 190 is my choice for now. I possibly used the wrong words.
  20. Reputable equipment suppliers that we've used as buyers

In my area there are no physical shops with table tennis gear. The closest one is in London I believe.
