Do indoor soccer shoes suffice for table tennis shoes

I was thinking about buying some new shoes for table tennis and I'm not exactly sure what to buy. I have been using regular tennis shoes for the past year and I figured that buying table tennis shoes would have better grip than the shoes I currently have. I have seen people wear indoor soccer shoes and I was wondering if there is really any difference? If you have any suggestions as to what I should buy please let me know as long as it's under $100!

Thank you!

Most soccer shoes do not grip the floor as well as other court shoes, but it works for me, since I play with my feet spread far apart and hop around. If you want more traction, look at badminton shoes. ... but getting TT shoes is going to be a hassle for me but i can get indoor soccer shoes easily and cheaper too
