rubbers

  1. Does anyone have the same rubbers on both sides?

I am currently using Butterfly Rosena on forehand and backhand on a DHS 301. I like to attack on both wings and also serve forehand and backhand. To be honest I cannot imagine using a slow spinny rubber on one side and fast on the other and would confuse myself if I twiddled between the two...
  2. Going from carbon blade w/ tensor rubbers to classic wood blade w non-tensor rubbers

Has anyone had any experiences going from fast carbon blade with tensor rubbers to slower wood blade with non-tensor rubbers? I've been using Hurricane Long 5 with MX-P rubbers for quite some time and have enjoyed this set-up. However, sometimes I can't help but wonder what it's like to use...
  3. Letting rubbers "breathe" before sticking them on (in order to reduce shrinkage)?

Letting rubbers "breathe" before sticking them on (in order to reduce shrinkage)? Hi Guys, I've seen a posted on you-tube which suggests that you should leave new rubbers out of the packet to "breathe" for about 72 hours in order to allow any shrinkage before putting them on the blade, rather...

My playing style: close to the table, spinny serves, bh and fh smashes, a few loops, some pushes to receive short serves, lots of bh and fh flicks, chop blocks, varied placement, third ball setup/attack and fifth ball attack, etc. I am starting to fh loop more, but poor footwork so far...

Advice for an ALL+ beginner player Hello everyone. I've been reading some old threads about rubbers for beginners, which I am even if I've been playing for 1.5 years, but mostly self-tought. 12. What are the differences between rubbers?

What's the difference between different rubbers? Hey guys! I have a couple of doubts about rubbers and what changes in each type. First, how does the thickness and weight of the rubber/sponge change your game (what is the difference between thick and thin, heavy and light sponges/rubbers)? I...
