I've been buying cheap Tenergy for over 4 years on AliExpress, why hasn't Butterfly shut it down? Surely by now they are aware...

How would Butterfly Japan stop it? The copyright laws in China are much weaker compared to most Western countries and they're rarely (ever?) enforced.

I don't see how it's possible to counterfeit and sell it for $12 with free shipping to the US and still make a profit. Not only is the rubber exactly the same, the printed packaging is the same right down to the holographs, stickers, and the blue information sheet.

30 minutes of play with the fake T05 was enough to remove it from my Stuor CNF. Nothing in common with real tenergy. Slow, very low throw angle, good spin, mid to low control, heavy - 51.5g cut. I will try it lightly boosted, with a flexible blade and will update this post. Just don't have high hopes for a meme rubber.

Update:
I boost the rubber with 1 + 1 layers seamoon 2 and falco platinum, wait a week and mount it on my most flexible blade. The difference was day and night - this fake T05 became playable and with good stats. The low throw was fixed, control was better, and the speed was acceptable. It is nothing special, but at that price and the fun of having fake tenergy, is a deal.
