Little update from me regarding my VCI + N55 setup both sides:
I find the rubber to be excellent for my BH. It feels like the perfect in between rubber of D09c and D05. Where I particularly find this rubber to be most effective for my BH is that the throw angle is in between 09c and 05, which is perfect because I have always found 09c angle quite extreme and 05 slightly too flat for my liking. N55 felt like that balance i needed. Blocks are good, BH topspin is unbelievable, and my flicks are just way better now than with the 09c and 05.
FH is still adjusting from H3, but I think my verdict is that N55 will replace my longtime buddy H3 Neo Blue sponge. I have mentioned before that I am quite tall and have had right knee problems even though I am young, so H3 was always a bit demanding for me. N55 with its angle and speed feels perfect for the FH since I don't have to work hard to get it over the net like H3 but it isn't too high like 09c as mentioned before. I am still getting used to the angle of racket to which to hit my FH topspin, as I am still opening my racket too much like I do with H3 and therefore over hit the table. As well, the spin does feel less than H3 unsurprisingly, not a huge difference but still noticeable.
Serving and receiving I have gotten used to now, and I believe that i can still keep the ball short and spinny in the short game even though it is less spin than H3 as mentioned. But it is easier to activate the spin for me than with h3.
Overall, this setup works fantastically for me! I think this is a great Hybrid rubber for many players but be aware if you are coming from H3 that you are in for an adjustment process (it does not have that very sticky feeling like H3). Highly recommend this rubber!
PS. Durability so far seems amazing. Does not look worn at all except where my thumb is on my racket
