Any reputable sellers on Ali for the Fextra 7? Also what rubbers would be a good match for beginners?

Trying to get my coworkers better setups, but not everyone wants to pay $80+ lol
Chinese PingPong and HWSPORT Store are the stores i always buy from... But you don't have to worry too much about the fextra being original or fake, I can assure you that there are no fakes of this model on aliexpress. Just look for a confiable seller with a good number of sales and good reviews!

I personally don't recommend Fextra 7, especially for beginners. People always say it's good and recommend it everywhere, but I tested it and make my own conclusions (I made a thread about it)...

IMO, the Fextra 7 biggest problem is its very small sweet spot and especially this: High hardness and no flexibility. Of course, the last two things will be a problem depending on your style of play... If you like play in the Chinese style, with lots of top spins and loops, forget it! I almost forgot, very low dwell time too! But of course, you can do the same as me, buy it and draw your own conclusions!

I personally recommend the Sanwei T5000, it's half the price and much better in every aspects (and you get carbon as a bonus) and no, you won't lose control because of the carbon compared to the fextra 7 😱 (the control of the T5000 is better 😂)

About rubbers, Try something like Reactor Tornado V5 (tensor, for BH or FH), Big Dipper 38º (tacky tensor, for BH or FH) or Jupiter 3 Asia 38° (tacky pre-boosted, only for FH)

Appreciate the post, but a day after I asked I bought 4 Yinhe N10’s with Mercury 2 on both sides from HWSPORT. Glad to know I made a decent decision on the purchase tho. I did consider the Sanwei TR-3 training bats with Ultraspin on both sides, but may get that on my next order. The T5000 did scare me with the carbon lol.

you should not be scared about carbon and especially not when it comes to T5000. Firstly , the carbon is only soft carbon, which is similar to black paper. 😁
Second: this is an inner layer blade so 2 decent layers of wood are shielding the carbon which really only helps to enlarge the sweet-spot. This is an excellent blade and it plays better than some of my expensive blades.

Nice choice!

If you're talking about the T88 Ultra Spin rubber, I really don't recommend it. I've already tested it and I didn't like it. useless rubber... But there's the T88-III, I've never tested it, they're cheap... worth a try if you want to! There are much better options than ultra spin at the same price (like V5)!

Dont worry about that, i assure you, he has a excellent control and speed! Defense really well, suitable for short games and strength when you need it! You can feel and hear the extra power of the carbon when it is “activated” in strong hits! (don't forget to check with the seller about the carbon, as it has inner and outer carbon, get the inner carbon)

+1, T5000 plays like no-carbon, if fact it is like in between a 5-ply wood and a 7ply wood blade. I recommend it also.
