Blade and rubber combination

Hi guys,

I have been playing for 10 months now and I had a feeling I needed to upgrade my equipment. So I did, My first rubbers were 61 seconds dst lightning 1.8 on FH Tibhar Vari spin 1.5 on BH and Donic Epoxpowerallround is my blade. I bought the Friendship 729 bloom power 2.2 for my FH and I bought the Butterfly Rozena 1.9-2.0 for my BH.
My blade is still the same. But I am noticing that I am having a harder time opening backspin balls with my FH. My coach said I had to close my bat angle more but it still feels weird. I read somewhere that it isn't smart to have a stiff blade with a hard rubber so I thought maybe that's why it feels so weird. I wanted to know if my blade is too stiff or not and I would like it if you could help decide what I should do. And if my backhand rubber isn't too fast.

With the BloomPower, i think you need to brush more. Is the arc low?

On revspin they say it has a low throw angle, but I think it's just normal the arc isn't really low. But it's so hard to spin parallel with the bloom power. And do you think Rozena is too fast? Thanks for replying btw.

My coach said they arc was low. What do you exactly mean with brush more?

For now, try a softer sponged modern rubber. You are around a lot of players and a coach or three. You shold be able to score a used rubber to tryout on FH and you have access to try other players' bats that have different stuff. This method is free, give it a shot.

With enough trying, you will discover the softness and type of rubber suitable for you.

But don't you learn faster with a harder rubber? Beacause chinese kids play with hard rubbers when they start. Thanks for replying
