How does it compare to viscaria? Is viscaria a good blade?Franziska Innerforce ZLC is a good blade and it is my main blade now. I really wanted to like Octcharov inner force ALC because, well, it is cheaper.
With Franziska Innerforce ZLC, it has been a very interesting experiment. My old blade was outer carbon with no vibration whatsoever which I liked. Franziska Innerforce ZLC has some vibration which I eventually got used to. Took some time to get used to it.
Also with Franziska, when I first started experimenting with it, it seems to play really slow on a passive shot (like an all wood blade) but can be very fast once you put power into it (like a carbon blade). So initially for the first 2-3 hours with the blade, I kept on dumping my pushes into the net but I adapted.
I like Franziska because it is easier to block heavy heavy topspin shots coming at you with innercarbon compositions. With outer carbon, you have to really relax and get the angle right. With Franziska, I can cheat a little bit and be out of position and still get the ball onto the other side of the table.
I also assembled a few inner carbon blades including DHS Fang Bo (the first version) and Nittaku Septear Feel inner. The latter two just feel slower than outer ALC. Nothing stood out really.
There is something about Butterfly inner carbon blades. I think SDC has speculated that it might have to do with the glue that Butterfly uses because it is hard for SDC (the blade maker) to duplicate inner carbon series from Butterfly exactly.
