Butterfly serial number check no longer exists?

Since I’ve got an email back from butterfly that they no longer check the authenticity of the serial number is there any other way to do it? Also, I’ve heard that in China they can check it on a specific website, so you have a link to it?

this website might only deal with butterfly product sold in china.
The verifying authenticity either stopped at least 2 years ago or did never even exist. Butterfly relies on a very tight market and seller control to protect their products from fakes. The bottom line: If you buy from one of our approved sales agents you will get the genuine product -- if you buy somewhere else, you don't.

You’re right. But I have the opportunity to buy butterfly stuff in China so that Chinese website would help me a lot
