do not underestimate the power of unkerz and unteez. They can buy two sheets of Zyre every month. They are the true customer of Butterfly.
Meanwhile little boys and girls continue to use Xiom Vega. Pappy & Mammy happy...
while you might be joking,
the fact is that table tennis in many countries are mostly in the kids section, and the maybe adults older than 40 years old.
there isn't that many 20s playing, as most people would be going into new careers/work and would not have time and maybe disposable income until later in life (40 years old+)
the same applies for table tennis rubbers, I find that EJ are mostly old folks or people with good disposable income.
but in tier 1 TT countries like Taiwan, the market side of kids table tennis equipment is huge.
Nittaku and Donic probably own the market with its Fastarc and Acuda series in terms of volume used.
Cathay Life table tennis team are the main team that sends me rubbers to donate and I can clearly tell whose rubber those 150 sheets belong too.
The Butterfly will be senior TPE national players, the Nittaku will be the junior national players etc.
The Nittaku users are all decent levels and just because they in Taiwan (like those Chinese, Korean or Japanese in their own countries), they are not the best so can't be sponsored. But they are higher level than some Butterfly sponsored kids in other countries that I hosted.
So these Xiom Vega or equivalent - is actually good enough for the masses.
In my opinion, we rather have plenty of fresh sheet, than 1 or 2 of expensive sheet that one can't afford to replace.
