Hope it won't be like with Kao

If Kao used ESN before switching to Andro, he would have been fine. But some players get used to Butterfly rubbers and then struggle to find equivalents. But it will be difficult to argue that if Hugo loved J&H C55, Joola can't work with ESN to make something like it.

Actually if we’re making a wishlist I would love to see a solid 7ply option from Hugo and then a carbon option (i know hal is not technically carbon but you get the point haha). I feel like 7ply all wood market is pretty slim 😬 (besides classics)

This was really an instrumental part of Joola’s refocus and reinvestment in table tennis 😇 hopefully people’s perceptions will change as things progress 🥳

I'll echo this 7 ply wood request! Something with playability in the gap between Long 3 and the Szocs Signature with a nice sized sq/st non-hollow handle and aluminum (no plastic) lense would be awesome.

No matter which blade you end up developing for Hugo, I’m confident that there will be a market for a blade like Hugo HAL, so I hope it will become part of a future Hugo series 🙏🏽😊
