Is it a language issue and you are engaging in good faith, or perhaps not? Have you ever held the blade of a pro player that you didn't have a close relationship to?

Let me spell it out as clearly as I can. I am connected with many pro players and have first hand experience holding, seeing, and discussing with them the specifics of their blades that they receive custom built and what their manufacturers do that makes it different from our stuff. None of them associated with Joola. I don't need to satisfy your standards of proof so it is up to you what you want to do with that information.

Hope this makes sense now, I can't spell it out any more clearly.

Don't be so pessimistic, why are you so sceptical about everything. You just said you couldn't care less, why argue the point further? It doesn't matter what we get, as long as its decent quality!
why not? why does everyone have to be like you? can one be a bit different? can one ask for something a bit better than decent quality?

besides, piligrim said he’s gonna trust me (yay finally someone) so i don’t really need your approval ok?

In fairness I’m not looking to lose my job so the forum can have info ahead of the official announcement 🤭 I think I’ve been fair about how I’m answering things. There’s a difference between being silent when information shouldn’t be shared vs actively answering questions when I’m able to address them 🤣
Makes total sense and don't blame you at all. This is your living and passion. It must have been a tricky job walking around knowing you have "that player" and bursting to sing it from the rooftops that the deal is done like you know the ending of the thread just after/before it's started :) ;)

Maybe try looking on the bright side for once!

I play in the same club as Anders Lind here in Denmark - Herlev IF (although he doesn’t currently play league matches, as the rules in Germany don’t allow it).

Thor Christensen, who also plays for Herlev, is on the national team together with Anders and has competed with him in the Danish Championships in doubles, has told me that he is absolutely certain that Anders plays with the exact same blade that anyone can buy in stores.

That said, Thor would like to ask Anders directly, so he can give a definitive answer.

Of course, this doesn’t really answer whether other professional players use specially made blades, so that discussion will probably continue regardless.
AL signed Non disclosure agrement for sure.

Btw, according to my source AL uses butterfly timo boll alc with donic handles. The info came from former top 20 player who is still in the loop

Hilarious if true. Wouldn't surprise me and he wouldn't be the first or only one still doing it. I suppose it would be easy enough to see if his blade is inner or outer carbon if someone finds a clear and zoomed in enough photo - don't care enough to look but hopefully some internet sleuths are on the job.
Maybe this was before he got his signature blade? Regardless, as you said, this is not uncommon. Even Fan did it once...

Is this regular TB ALC we can buy or special nobody can get?

as I was saying...
And if BobFL is right, you think AL will be more insightful than anyone posting here? I think AL did a TTD review of his blade no? Maybe we can revisit the footage...

I think if he knew how the thread was going to turn out he'd have steered clear

Has a pro or amateur pro ever contacted you about a blade before?
I am also curious about this @SDC! That'd be a great marketing win just from word of mouth on the circuit, if the player were well-known enough. Somebody tell Anders to call, he's not living up to his pro potential using that commercial crap 😂

It’s a good thing that the blades and rubbers that the pros get from Joola are the same as commercial. Only difference is the Joola sponsored player may want to have a blade that is heavier than commercial blades. At least the people that are buying the commercial blades can have complete trust that the equipment they buy is going to be the same as the pros. Big thumbs up for Joola @Matt Hetherington

Joola seems to be the only company that are doing this. Other brands such as DHS and Butterfly have custom pro blades that you cannot buy commercially e.g DHS W968 No 1 blade etc

Why so important to have same equipment as pro? You won't play better with it

Psychological effect is a part of the game. Also, people do collect stuff and there's nothing wrong with wanting to have the same equipments with the pros just to admire them.
