The more you change rubbers and have your friends who know how to, or your friend who is a coach, help you, the more you will know how to do it.

A club I used to play at, the guy who ran it used to have me help people take rubbers off and glue new ones on because I was friends with one of the guys who worked there and was first watching and then helping him. So I got a lot of practice once I knew how.

Indeed, actually i know how to glue rackets now, but i keep asking him to do it for me even it is not difficult to do so, but i prefer him to do because he is always knows what or how to do, one day if he is not available i will do it myself, but for removing and re glue i didn't see that before, should give it a try to learn.

Many thanks to everyone who has replied.
I have bought some revolution 3. Interesting that the video on you tube recommends 3 coats on the sponge and 2 on the blade.
The idea of using the table tennis ball to remove any water based glue from sponge was clever. Also the masking tape was brilliant.
I agree sealing is vital if you wish to protect your blade and are trying different combinations of rubbers and blades to find your perfect match.
As an aside if you google custom blades you will find a business in Greece who will make your blade to your specification and it doesn't cost anywhere near the amount charged for premium blades sold by the recognised manufacturers. If anyone has used them I would be pleased to hear a review.
Thanks again

You could be like me and simply be Hell on blades and they will be serviceable well before the outer veeners peel off with the sponge.

Amazingly, I have NEVER cracked an 896 blade and I have thrown some of them around worse than Who Flung the Chuck.
