Sure, anything's possible, but his recent history is that he often gives up on the set when he's down by a lot. He's done that quite often against WCQ in the past couple years, for example.

Tbh at 8-4 up. Ma Long just really needed that final burst of energy and really, he could have just paced around in the court to waste time to regain his strength. But no, he's just too much of a fair player....
