Darius Movileanu crushes Shinozuka ro continue his ascension with the title of the most dangerous player/underdog in the world. Maybe Kishikawa knnew something we all didn't... more seriously I am curious how much of this level will hold because at least against lefties this boy is lethal..

Wow he played well, really continuing his great form. Unlike that Russian guy who seemed to have some predictable strengths and tactics, he seems like a pretty complete player. Short game, counters, power, footwork, looks like WCQ out there.

The level was off the charts, trying to maintain that will be hard. He looked like a top 5 player in that match for sure.

Romania has a good squad of young players - Chirita, Ionescu, Movileanu.
It’s true, I think it’s admirable and quite unique that so much talent is beginning to emerge in Romania all at once. Given their history, I would have expected that to happen in Hungary. The question then remains: why is that? Did Bernadette set the whole thing in motion?😀

Felix doesn't look right, contacts and below par play.
Truls looked primed for an early exit in Macao, ended up winning the event, playing his best table tennis in over a year.

Still, the expectations of taking the world number one next monday must be messing with Felix' head at least a little right now.

Anyhow, love seeing a packed house on day one, despite WCQ canceling.

Currently watching Manyu Vs Wang. It's a procession.
Ignorant question but are all the top men's players here? I just recently started watching for my studies but seems like we don't get the Europeans and Chinese in the same tournaments. I wanna see Truls et. al take on the Chinese.
For me this is still the fascination. the clash of styles and systems.

Dima continues the washed up era of his career with a washing from Hugo.

Yuan Licen continues to support my theory that he is a CNT when he plays in China or plays doubles and struggles to play like a CNT member elsewhere.

Anders Lind continues to like to play Asians more than Europeans as long as they are not top Japanese players.

All these observations are not to be taken seriously at the risk of acquiring someone is wrong on the internet syndrome.

Sora Matsushima will be world number one on Monday. Felix has expiring points from last year's China Smash.
