I also expected that at first back in 2022, but that's not been the case so far for Hashimoto. Same for Sato.
Sato game is different, she has more control and more variety with creating differnet spin. Although CXT is very patient which is best option againts chopers. It should be very interesting if Sato advances agains other chinese choper.

He even complained it with his coach. And his coach said, don't blame it on the rubbers. Why did you not complain when you played well with them? Low EQ coach in my opinion.
The coach did the right thing. Ultimately, you need to focus on how you win points, if you don't like the rubber, you cannot change that.

That challenge at 6:7 ruined it!

I think we need a following rule: If the judge calls it, and it is incorrect, it will be said to HIM: only 1 more challenge remaining! Players also should feel satisfaction from it!
So players would be allowed to ignore all service rules when they are called wrong twice? No, the satisfaction is that they get to serve again, potentially a different serve. Also mentally it’s stressful for the opponent because they essentially lose a point. I don‘t think the challenge actually changed the match here.

Congratulations to best chopper in the world, Hitomi Sato. Making the SF here gives her enough points to surpass Satsuki Odo in ranking and actually into the top 10 at I believe WR#9 with a chance to go even further if she beats CXT.
If I calculated correctly she should be now no 10 surpasses Shin, Odo and Yuling. Of course if she beats CXT then probably no 8.

Zhou Qhihao plays so well right now, lets see how he will manage in the semis. I get that he is a forehand dominant player and likes to step around, but his back hand is so clean nice technike good power. Just wow

I am not agree. He clearly BH dominant
