Due to three consecutive tournaments including the China Open, China vs World and the Shakehand vs Penhold tournament the Chinese Super League has been on hold.

On the 26[SUP]th[/SUP] June 2011 the Chinese Super League was back on track for the sixth round. European superstar Timo Boll claims his debut for Zhejiang.

Shangdong vs Zhejiang

Timo Boll’s first appearance in the Chinese Super League took place. Timo Boll representing Zhejiang with in form Ma Lin.

The Opening match was between European superstar Timo Boll vs Fang Bo of Shangdong. A spectacular match which saw Boll win by 3 games to 2. Timo Boll’s teammate Ma Lin defeated the reigning world champion Zhang Jike in an epic match.

The doubles match saw Ma Lin and Hao Shuai Defeat Fang Bao and Zhang Chao to win the match. This is the first defeat for Shangdong in the super league and the fourth consecutive win for Zhejiang.



Bayi vs Ninbo

Ma Long fought Bayi’s Yan An in the opening match up. The match went all the way to the wire with Yan An playing superbly to give Bayi the first point of the night by winning 11-4 in the fifth set.

The second match up saw the mighty Wang Hao increase Bayi’s lead to 2-0 by defeating Tian Haiwei 3-0 with scores 11-1, 12-10 and 12-10.

Bayi’s Yan An/ Zhou Yu defeated Wu Hao and Wang Jianjun to complete the match victory.
Bayi are now tied on the same points with Shangdong in the top spot with five match wins each. Ninbo claimed their fourth loss in the super league.

Jiangsu vs Sichuan

Jiansu’s main man Chen Qi defeated Xu Ruifeng in the opening match of the round with scores 11-6, 8-11, 11-4, 14-12, 5-11 and 11-4. The second match saw Qiu Yike of Sichuan defeat Lei Zhenhua to level the scores 1 each for both teams.

In the third match Sichuan’s Xu Ruifeng / Zhang Yu defeat Jiangsu’s Lei Zhenhua/ Lin Chen 3-0. Sichuan’s team were now in a 2-1 lead.

The fourth match was a crowd pleaser. Qiu Yike took a lead of 2-1 against Jiangsu’s Chen Qi. Chen Qi bought the match to the fifth set however failed to win and lost the game by 2 games to 3.

Jiangsu now go into the seventh round with six straight losses in the Chinese Super League 2011. Sichuan have three wins on the table.

Bazhou vs Jinhzhou

Cui Qinglei of Bazhou defeated legend Wang Liqin in a mighty fifth set with scores 6-11, 11-6, 11-13, 11-4, and 10-12.

Bazhou’s superstar Xu Xin faced Shang Kun. Xu Xin lost the first two sets however Shang Kun was’nt able to hold of Xu Xin and lost the match 3-2. Bazhou were now in a 2-0 lead.

The third match saw Jinzhou;s Shang Kun/ Zhai Yiming beat Bazhou’s team Li Ping and Cui Qinglei in a 3 games to 2 win.

The fourth match was with the Chinese National team giants of Wang Liqin and Xu Xin. The match tied at 2 games each with Xu Xin winning the crucial points in the fifth set to win the games 11-7 in the fifth.

This round gave Bazhou their fourth victory whilst Jinzhou had their third loss in the Chinese Super League.
