Hi all,
I hope some of you might be able to help.
Here I have 3 bats fitted with DHS Hurricane 8. Far left topsheet is just over an year old, the middle and far right are both exactly 4 months old(bought from the same place at the same time). As you can see from the pictures the old Hurricane 8 is still very shiny and when you put finger on it you can feel that it sticks on the rubber, whereas on the other 2 Hurricanes is considerably less. The nonshiny ones have been cleaned with Donic cleaner for the first month and distilled water and microfibe cloth afterwards. Both (nonshiny) ones have topsheet protectors and have always been used after play.
All three rubbers are used 2-3 times a week 2-3hours a day. TACH]
Has anyone had similar problem? I would imagine chinese tacky rubber like Hurricane 8 should last longer than 4 months?!?
