Are you sure the rubber is authentic?
you are using DHS product yourself so you know they all come with the scratchy -sticker and one can check for authenticity.
From a photo I don't think we could possibly arrive at a proper conclusion.

I checked with the DHS page. The code was authentic. Also have red rubber from same source which was fine. Both codes were confirmed as genuine. Also, not the first time getting the hurricane with a fingerprint.

Yes, right, but I didn't know if the rubber shown also came with such a sticker.

Also I have never seen such irregularities in the printing with any of my DHS rubbers.
of course if it has no sticker it is not a genuine DHS product.
Like i said, photos will never give a true condition.
No matter how hard i try i never manage to get a decent pic , especially not from a black rubber. I blame my crappy OPPO phone and should have never gotten rid of my proper digital camera.

I have been wondering this as I bought quite a lot of Palio AK-47 Red (black color) and those "smudges" / "finger prints" are almost always present. The red color is fine though. The rubbers are brand new out of the factory packaging. But it does not affect the way they play though.

Back to the topic, here is my theory.
I believe that the cost of making such blades are not that expensive in China. But since it bears the name of The Great Ma Long, then the selling price becomes very expensive. This is what Butterfly has been doing for a long time and now almost every TT manufacturers do the same.
However, I believe that if we pay such a high price, they need to, at least, pay attention to QC more.
