Donic perrson powerplay composition

Hello! My dad is starting table tennis (~6 months playing) and I would like to give him a better blade now (he uses dhs wind sr-b). He is a blocker, but he prefers slower bats so he can have more control. That is why I thought about powerplay, and I would like to know its wood plies. Do someone know? (If someone has another blade recommendation, I will consider)

If he is a blocker, then Persson Powerplay will be a good choice. Basically, 7-ply blades like Clipper, Samsonov Force Pro Black, Joola Viva, will all be good for blocking as they are stiffer than 5-ply blades.

But since you are looking for slower, more controllable blocking blade, then Persson Powerplay is ideal. It is considered as a 7-ply blade, but the dampening foil is very thin, you can't see it. You will only see 5 layers of wood.

The composition stated above is correct (of course, it is from Donic itself). Abachi is also known as Ayous, in case you are reading somewhere that stated the composition using "ayous".
