Alternatives to Donic Waldner Senso Carbon (WSC) are either:

1. Donic Waldner Senso Ultra Carbon. This feels different compared to WSC.

2. Donic Original Senso Carbon (used to be Ovtcharov Original Senso Carbon). This is the same as WSC, but with split-core and a bit thicker. So instead of 5+2 (WSC), it becomes 6+2 (OSC). I believe this is an improvement of original WSC, at least it can be used by advanced players.
If I remember correctly, few Malaysian national players use this Original Senso Carbon. However, choose wisely, the split core increases the weight significantly. Mine is 90 grams, but I know few that are 97 grams.

I recently got a DWSC Chinese Penhold that I converted into a 157x150 shakehand blade. But now that I have, I find it very slow, slower than a Korbel for instance.
Am I imagining things? Or is this blade THAT slow and basically just a thin 5ply with a bit larger sweet spot?
I can't feel the carbon doing anything at all...

At tabletennis11 blog, the reviewer compared Donic Waldner Offensive 2016 and Donic WSC Limited (Basically a WSC with grey handle and JO shape). He concluded that Waldner Offensive 2016 is Off- and WSC limited is All+.

I have ordinary WSC (not JO shape, not limited version) and from my experience, it is slower than my BTY Korbel. However, this could be due to weight difference, as my WSC is ~84-85 grams and my Korbel is ~92-93 grams.

My Frankensteined WSC is 78g and I have a 78g Korbel that's definitely faster.
It was something like 82-84g before I cut the head to regular 157x150 shape and put a shake hand handle on it

But WSC is listed as 85g iirc
