Glued 2 new sheets: DH 218 Control Red and Hurricane 8 39" on my Donic Skachkov (Koto outer ALC) blade today.
Not impressed with 218 Control. I was planning to use it on BH, but during the match I had a feeling that Hurricane 8 plays much better on BH side. Like it has higher throw when contacting the ball.

Even if 218 control seems to be bouncier and only slightly tacky, during the game it feels more dead, so it was easier to use on FH where I have much more power.

Will continue my tests. Maybe need to break down them a little.

Weight (keep in mind the blade is slightly bigger than Butterfly one):
218 Control — 53 grams
Hurricane 8 39" — 51 grams

Double fish is not really good at promoting their products. Most people probably don’t even know that double fish makes blades and rubbers.
I am busy arranging Yogi Bear to be part of the promotion strategy.
so just bear with us.

have any one used DF balls/rubbers/blades?
like to hear your feedback.

I got blue fish DF-J2 this is the slowest and my best blade ever
speed about off-
I have some butterfly and nittaku inner carbon blades. Controll and looping machinery is there but I missing the good feeling.
Double fish even better control maybe because slower little bit but better feeling for me (harder) and end of the handle grip is wider than butterfly especially than nittaku

I got df 218 control rubber and this is my second best rubber (before I used rakza z)
but for my best is hurrican 3 neo what is slower than 218 control but what I need

I wrote some comments about the DF Qiji in another thread. But I don't know if that is the same rubber as your Qiji Speed?
Thank you sir.

I'm not sure it is the same DF Qiji rubber as your comments.

I'm just saw this new arrival of DF Qiji SPEED at Shopee seller last week.

Best regards,

Yes, that's the same one I have.

I think it's decent, but definitely wants to have booster. Without booster, the spin and catch on the ball is a bit lacking.

With booster, it is quite fast, decent spin, and altogether gets the job done nicely.

Compared to other Chinese rubbers, the topsheet seems dryer than normal. It gives off the impression of being older than it is.

You just love the feeling of a boosted rubber, bro. You boost everything, lol.

Blue Qiji or Qiji speed is awesome if you are more of a loopdriving than looping. It's spinny enough for slow loop, but the speed and spin ratio in loopdriving is great. Putting your whole body when hitting it is just very rewarding.

The biggest gripe I have with this rubber is it gets bubbled way too soon.

I think the red Qiji, the so called loop king is much much better than the blue. I'd take the Volant Phoenix any day over the blue Qiji. VP is cheaper and can be boosted better too.
VP is better than Qiji, Blue or Red. No question there.

As for me, I prefer Blue than Red. It's deadlier and harder to use. It takes skill to use it which was something that I liked.

I think the Qiji topsheet is quite interesting. It's sticky differently than other Chinese rubbers. The VP is pretty usually sticky. It's hard to describe. Liek the Qiji stickiness is very thin but still sticky while other Chinese rubbers have a deeper sticky feel.
I kind of wish DF would experiment more with this topsheet with VP sponge or others...
