Those doubters should be silenced now.

Given more chances, Nagasaki and Kihara should be able to do similarly as the golden generation.

Straw man argument once again. Holding me accountable for my predictions is your own problem. Once again, your beef (I seriously couldn't care less, let alone write that wall of text that I didn't finish reading) started when you questioned my opinion that who among Harimoto/Kihara/Nagasaki could make CNT sweat bullets, with WMY/SYS/WYD specifically named by you. Will you own up to your question? And while you're at it, your stance on Uda?

MS R32
Feng Yi-Hsin 2-3 Matsushima (-11, 5, -4, 2, -6)

There is some truth to what Matsushima said about being in poor form at the start of WTT CS Yokohama 2026.

WD QF
Harimoto/Hayata 3-1 WYD/CY (4, 3, -9, 9)

It's in JTTA's best interest after WTT SCT London/Muscat 2025, XTWC 2025 and WTT F Hong Kong 2025. Doubles will be the main battlefield even though WR will be the major selection criterion.

Of the 3,
Hirano could remain somewhat competitive if she gives it another push given her sturdy body type (here and here) and to my surprise she will play WD with Kihara at Zennihon Takkyu 2026;
Hayata's injury- and disease-prone body type is just unsettling, and 3 years down the road?;
Ito's solo personality and the limit of her playing style and stubby body type are frankly out of tune with XT.

Happy for Dima... @zeio what do you think is more appropriate? getting on knees or putting sand on the head ;-)
You tell me. How many here were of the opinion that Ovtcharov should not have been picked for Paris 2024?

Below is the discussion over at Tieba on the online poll done by mytischtennis.de. The general consensus is that Ovtcharov has been subjected to systemic racism by many German fans because he was born in Ukraine during the Soviet era, so technically a Russian by birth.

如何评价:德媒投票波邱奥弗谁将无缘巴黎奥运 奥恰高票数当选 (How to evaluate: German poll on who, among Boll, Qiu, Ovtcharov, and Franziska, will miss the Paris Olympics and Ovtcharov was elected with high votes)

Needless to say, turboblock (and some others) has a problem with Rosskopf's lineup.

Oh, please. You're comparing Boll who has a proven track record in MT in contrast to MS. Read that TT-News thread. The members are calling for a change of policy of using washed-up players after Paris 2024. Winter would be the oldest German player in recent times to play her first Olympics, older than those former CNT players after the mandatory "cool-down" period.

Because Dima was washed up or because they considered Franziska deserving? And was it really Dima or Timo that was the subject of scrutiny?

其实现在男线最强的外协 (Who's actually the strongest man of oversea association?)

两面弧圈 奥恰、吉村、法尔克和卡尔森都过气了,户上和大灯拿一次世乒赛双打冠军也当不起最强外协称号,评价球员实力强弱不能只看一次大赛表现。

(Ovtcharov, Yoshimura, Falck and Karlsson are all washed-up. Even if Togami and Hiroto have won the WTTC MD title once, they are not worthy of the title of the strongest foreign team. When evaluating a player's strength, we cannot just look at his performance in one major tournament.)
