You have to earn the chance. You know all too well that Champions tournaments have an NER limit of 4 and Smash tournaments have an NER limit of 6. That's on them to try and position themselves to get to top 4/6 by the end of 2026 so they can play in those high level tournaments. They are both very good players, but they're competing against the likes of Hina, Odo, and Hashimoto who are ahead of them ranking wise. I mean I know you don't like Hina and Satsuki, but they are the ones winning tournaments this year apart from Miwa among the Japanese women.
Running in circles again.

For someone who kept arguing until the truth was confirmed by WTT personnel and then said "whatever the case may be...", I don't expect a different outcome here for this case.

With that said, one last time, Hirano and Kihara, in addition to Hashimoto, Sato, and Shibata, have already made it abundantly clear, hinting at the fact that they were not the top priorities of the team.

Heck, the way the composition of NT/NT candidate was deteremined didn't sit well with you, so please! Stop talking out of both sides of your mouth.

Is it just me or does others notice Omar always looks like he is out of balance most of the time and he still returns the ball due to his tall body stature and by extension his superior reach? In short, he is using uber long limbs to his advantage.

I noticed too that his movements have a tendency to become exaggerated and unbalanced especially when he is under pressure. I'd say he makes up for it with his athleticism and strength, he is remarkably (and surprisingly given his build) flexible too. But the quality of his ball is lower than the other top players IMHO.

other very tall players like Jonathan G & Patriz F do not seem to be tumbling here and there.

maybe it is african style, as Aruna Q seems also to be tumbling when hitting his trademark FH.

Hina and Satsuki got to where they are because of their own efforts. As I said, they're the ones winning the tournaments. Hashimoto and Sato have actually done a really good job of moving up the rankings. They both will have a good shot at future teams events as well as WTTC with the larger number of entries than the Olympics. Hirano's ranking fell off a cliff and she hasn't done enough to move up to be in contention. Kihara has had injury and confidence issues. She's working her way back and had a great win over CXT at this tournament. In all cases, if they dream of LA2028, then they need to move up the ranking list. That's pretty clear. What I said about NT/NT candidate has no relevance here.

The last time Harimoto got past R16, he reached the F. What about this time?

Harimoto from SGP GS 2022 to USA GS 2026:
GS - 11
R64 - 2 (18%)
R32 - 1 (9%)
R16 - 7 (64%)
QF - 0
SF - 0
F - 1 (9%)

(Despite the win, it was obvious that Moto didn't have a good way to deal with Togami. The third shot was always a push to let Togami put in a shot mano-a-mano. It was a completely disadvantageous game. Moreover, Togami made 5 or 6 service errors today, giving away points directly. In the end, the total score was still the same. Such a difficult game. Hukou book [Togami-Moto] is still quite interesting.)
