it's pretty crazy to watch her tear through her opponents
The match vs Bernie was really terrifying. I am trying to remember an European player beating Bernie to the point Bernie gave up like that and I am drawing blanks. That's usually reserved for Mima Ito...

Matsushima still good for nothing. Poor Odo. 6 points in a row in G5.

Upset alert. "No chance for LA 2028" is up on Tongtong 2-1.
CXT is not going to LA28 and Winter at nearly 36 years of age will have to convince the DTTB bigshots that she is the better choice over her younger teammates. She is up against a "systemic discrimination" that is based on logic, not sentiment.

You mean like Han Ying and Xiona Shan tried and failed woefully to convince DTTB bigshots they should be on the team over younger players like Mittleham, Solja etc. Boll failed woefully to get chosen over younger players like Franziska et al?

Age is not the limiter, performance is. Let's not get this twisted. And before this you had been mocking her performance with that phrase, let's not move the goal posts please, she was always a long shot for LA 28, give her performance credit now.

Zyre didn't help Miwa yesterday either lol
Poor Harimotos are dropping like flies. :(
Such a disappointing result for Tomo, only a few days after that huge win against WCQ. Maybe he didn't dislike the Korean coach enough lol
It looks like he's just really tired.

God damn Sabine, after also having match points against WYD in Yokohama (that match was already a plus for her standing zeio) she beats out CXT and it wasn't particularly close. After those performances there's no reason to think that it has to end here either, bring on the QF vs Chen Yi. Insane run either way

Now you are comparing apples and oranges.

Like Hashimoto said in a recent interview, choppers become stronger the older they get. Shan Xiaona, who suffered a first round exit/R64, said she was never the choice for Paris 2024 if Han Ying didn't injure herself and couldn't recover in time. Winter was also recovering from an injury at that point. How long can Winter step-around like that 3 years from now?

Franziska, with a better H2H against CNT, is actually the perfect example that if they didn't trust you once, they will never trust you ever. Claudia Herweg made that abundantly clear in the Butterfly interview after WTTC 2022, that it was a one-off thing when they sent a young team of QD, Duda, and Stumper. For LA28, they will have no choice for the MT but the WT?

Despite the fact that Harimoto looked tired, An looked simply amazing, I very happy for his victory!
In addition, this victory in my opinion became a sobering pill for EJ fans because no rubber plays by itself. Perhaps the excitement fir Z3 will subside and with it the price.

Any way you measure it, Sabine has exceeded expectations probably even her own. The CNT has some pips/anti headaches they're going to have to deal with: India, Sabine, Honoka, Kim Kum Yong. Not to mention inverted players like Miwa and Satsuki. Hana Goda and Bruna are also coming along nicely.

Not as many headaches as the men tho lol. R16 and only LSD left? CNT Men is probably at its lowest low right now

Sure Winter can get worse. But you said this "No chance for LA 2028" every time she lost a match. Where is the report on her winning the match with the same statement now she has beaten someone (in fact two people) that the German team young brigade are currently incapable of beating?

But still, there is, the Butterfly rubbers decreases in size and this indicates the use of a booster at the factory.
Maybe you stretch them too hard - I don't have that with Butterfly rubbers in any significant way - nothing close to MX-P for sure.
