Have you tried regular europe yet?

Its like a medium rebound hybrid, think rakza z. Its pretty fun to use.

Whats the rubber on left?
Not yet for the regular Europe. I'm not sure it's relevant to try it, I don't know what I would gain compared to H3 Neo 37°, Rxton 7, Telson 100, Codexx, etc... I bought it because it was supposed to be made in Germany, which I doubt.

The rubber on the left is the Arthur Europe 45, A36°. I'll try it unboosted first for the backhand.

I glued a sheet of LAC on my Fextra yesterday, and when I started cutting the rubber I was surprised by how "brittle" the sponge seems to be. It was crumbling a lot more into tiny bits when i cut it.
I've only used ESN rubbers up until this point, and they all seem to have thougher sponges.

Is this normal?

EDIT: Forgot to mention that the topsheet felt no more tacky than my G-1. I thought it was supposed to be very tacky?
As for the sponge, it was quite brittle when I used it as well. I think that's pretty normal for LAC sheets and probably not something to worry about.

The topsheet, however, was decently tacky for me — slightly less than H3 perhaps, but still enough to lift the ball in the air for at least 2s. Given that G-1 is completely non-tacky, it would certainly be weird if your sheet of LAC has such little tack.

LAC BS 39º is too dead, no pleasure while playing with it. I will boost it severely.

Same thing for the Arthur 45 on the BH. It's measured only 2º less than the LAC BS.

This was not a good setup at all.
Sad to hear that it needs boost, no point then versus Rxton 9(boosted) and telson. Or versus regular orange sponge LAC. Unless blue sponge Lac reacts really well to booster and it has some advantages or preference compared to Rxton 9

I agree, I don't see the point of this rubber. And I was already wondering before buying it.

so LAC blue is slower than regular LAC?
On most strokes, yes. On very big shots, I don't know, I did not try and went back to another setup.

So left is Europe 45. Right is Arthur China BS. What is middle?
LAC Pro.

So LAC blue sponge is softer than the regular? What about the Pro version?

It seems that my sheet of LAC has been getting more and more sticky/tacky after a couple of sessions and some overnights with protectors on.. Is that normal?

No, LAC BS is harder than the regular one. Pro version is exactly the same than regular version.

Some of my LACs can be more tacky on some sessions, depends on how wet they were when I put the protector I guess.

I thought the regular LAC was 40-41.. But ok. So the Pro variant is different? Or just better QC and consistency between different sheets?

I glued a new LAC (green package) and it felt dead for the first hour or so I hit with it. But I feel it's slowly breaking in. Seems to be the case with a few of these Loki sponges, as I recall Rxton 3 Blue also had a very dead brick feeling sponge until a few hours of play.

Measured hardness of the LAC was 52-53d.

LAC is not real 40° DHS. It's way softer than that. I don't know for the Pro. Global Sport Store told me it was the same with a different packaging.

With which durometer did you measure ? How much are other rubbers ?

I used the Type O durometer that many other people have from Aliexpress.

Seems to be pretty accurate. Jupiter 3 38d was 50d, 39d was 51d. Battle 2 39d = 51d. Euro rubbers were accurate to manufacturer rating. Fastarc C-1 = 45d, Xiom Vega Pro = 48d, Stiga Mantra Pro M = 46d.

Loki seems to have same scale as Yinhe/729 with 38d = 50d / 39d = 51d / 40d = 52d, etc. Rxton 3 Pink (39d) measured around 50d, Blue (40d) was 51-52d. Rxton 9 measured 52d.

The only weird one was Loki Rxton 5 that I bought a long time ago that was listed as 41d but was only around 50d.

When I came back my to table tennis last year, and before I learned that pre made bats are usually crap, I bought a Loki bat from Aliexpress. It is the 9 star model with Rxton 5 rubbers on both sides. This one: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005004770238739.html?spm=a2g0o.store_pc_home.slider_2005641124027.0

Anyhowe, I had almost forgot I ordered it, but wanted to at least give it a try this week. The first thing that bothered me and what stood out compared to my ESN rubbers was the extremely low throw (the problem was most obvious on my FH).

Is low throw/arc something most chinese tacky rubbers has in common? Could I expect similar low throw with Loki 9, Rxton 3 Pro, 729 Battle 2 (and its variants)?

I bought it because i liked the black handle and because i was interested in the different sponges and how they compared with the "real" R5.
Well, the rubbers have nothing in common with the real Rxton5 they are a cheap version made to sell as a ready made combo. The combo itself was one of the lamest dogs of a table tennis racket i ever had. 😂
