Jesus 6 days and your sheet looks like shit. No other way to describe this^^
And again your topsheet overall looks quite different than all of mine.

The edges were losing it too now. Although mostly due to the fact that i used edge tape at the beginning and didnt cover the whole rubber. And i hit a lot of edges, which caused the rubber to lose its grip on the sponge because the sponge was protected through the edge tape.

Thanks to you guys i got a bit paranoid and check my rubber thoroughly every training day if it bubbled up too in the middle of the rubber.
Today i tested the LAC on my Yinhe Pro 01 for several hours. But no lose spots here.

My foreign friend has the same experience with his 3/4 months old LAC. Some shitty spots at the edges but topsheet and the rest of the rubber is fine. In the meantime he tested 2 more blades with it, and no issues whatsover.
He is pretty much happy with it, though finds it a bit harder to generate spin with harder blades. Still possible, but requires really good technique and is overall harder to perform.

The rubber cleaner caused those dirty looks in the printing because I don't clean it completely, otherwise the topsheet still looks shiny and tacky as new

@Zwill the "expensive" sheet is also 40d, with hardness printed in the sponge exactly like the previous 4 "cheap" sheets. There is a minor difference in the outer nylon packaging in the "expensive" sheet, while the rest looks the same

Can you give us a sense of what the heat and humidity is like when you play?

Both longle and Zwill play in hot and humid environments and I'm wondering if that plays any role in the glue bond being weakened.

I don't think the weather has any roles because I always played in a club with air cooler. And I take care of my sheets carefully, with protective firm

I should start playing TT in Hanoi. All of the CLB in Saigon are too cheap to turn on the air conditioner!

Same here, they've got half a dozen air-cons in the hall but they neither cool us in summer nor do they heat us in winter. Then we only pay NZ$ 165 a year for nearly 50 club nights so that
ain't too bad.

Different. In germany our weather ranges from 15-35 degree Celsius at the moment. So we had humid and very hot days and right now it cooled down quite a bit. The only thing that was noticable that i lacked grip several times due the hot and humid weather times. But cold is actually more restricting. The rubber feels way harder and does weird stuff some times.

For some reason the Battle 2 gold is the cheapest variant, could it be its 40 deg put people off? I would have thought that's good news for heavy boosters @TensorBackhand

I clean my rubber with my breath or some times with water, but nothing else.

But as ive stated before your rubber topsheet still looks different. I didnt even include the shinyness here because this can be caused by lighting and angles.

and now for something completely different, "No it's not the Spanish Inquisition" .
It played against my coach tonight with my new rubbers, LAC on the forehand and pink R3 on the BH............................................and highly disliked LAC. It felt like it was a different rubber on every place on the blade. So I handed it over to my coach. He liked the cracking sound of the LAC and of course its speed. So I made him an offer he could not refuse and he went home with the LAC and me with the money. 🤣 Everybody is happy
I will have use for the pink monster, its got a solid feel to it similar to R5 but a bit softer.

No sorry. I had a conversation with a ITTF Equipment Manager and he answered me this.

So even though Ploom Power is approved, the ones without the ITTF mark aren't.

Well that sucks. I remember there was a time when the Bloom Power without the ITTF number was in the LARC. I guess the new version with the ITTF number printed on the topsheet means that they've removed the old entry and those without are no longer legal.
