Dingtian absolute fracking needs boosting. Without it it's like blue H3 non-Neo. It's deader than a Texas salad bar.
Dunno who told you it doesn't need boosting but you need to send them a ticking letter.

I got mine from the "Loki Official Store". I am genuinely F curious who the hell makes these rubbers. There is no way every brand has its own rubber factory. Sure DHS has its own in Shanghai, 729 in Tianjin, Yinhe and possibly Double Fish. I seriously doubt Young Shine, Loki or Pinyi, Sword, Sanwei doesn't just subcontract these manufacturers. I just have this weird feeling that Loki is a DHS made topsheet, possibly Dingtian too since both are related to ex DHS contract players Wang Hao and Guo Yan and I would imagine they have a relationship with DHS. Especially Wang Hao since from all the CNT players ever he always seemed to be the smartest by far.
The sponges are an absolute crapshoot, I can imagine some virgins cooking them up in their granny's basement and selling them to big brands.
DHS's sponge is considered the best among Chinese manufacturers (with booster), whereas 729 is considered to make the best (tacky) topsheet. Wang Hao and Guo Yan are getting the wrong parts lol

He He He ,this is the ticking letter, it was YOU who told me about the Dingtian.
You forget that there are many different classes of TT players .
My "ultra speed shot" could be your "ultra slow shot.. " 😁

I visualized this picture and it left a permanent imprint on my retinas.
However, I envy you because the closest I get to a virgin these days
is picking up a bottle of virgin olive oil at the supermarket

Oh no, sounds like an own goal. But I'm fairly certain I never said that it is OK to use without boosting. I really hope this statement won't age like spoilt milk.

Well i cant confirm but Tony Said they give him a factory tour and it was quite impressive. From my conversation with the Loki agent i get the feeling they are a serious and ambitious young company with their own R&D team and process, so i cant imagine they just rebrand a generic product.

Hope you're right. It's always exciting to see young ambitious company try to disrupt the status quo.

If Rxton 7 is a good substitute for D09c at a low price, then I am definitely a buyer. Hope Telson 47 is cheap and good too

So you said Telson is launching in July. So the Rxton 7/9 launch must be very close, right? Do you know when you will get your hands on some?
I cant confirm the launch in july. I have the feeling something was lost in translation since there isnt a TELSON topsheet registered on the larc yet. And Rxton 7/9 are there for a while and still no news about them. I assume my agent meant they will realese for early testing to their pro players or something like that. Maybe later this year we get some news, i will ask my agent, i think @Tony's Table Tennis said something about when chinese brand realese new products based on their calendar or something if im not mistaken. I dont think i will get a test sample of those rubbers sadly, but i have hope they will deliver good quality product at a competitive price.

I have not found a rubber more spinnier than H3 out of all the ones that try to copy H3
True, recently I've tried a black sheet of H3 commercial version. Others chinese rubbers often choose the "hard topsheet softer sponge" while H3 is the opposite, my Target Pro 3 gives spins based on how forward I can hit while H3 doesn't necessary require it

I didn't mention anything about calendar, nor did I hear about a "Telson" series.

What I can say is, LARC takes a long process.
If it isn't on LARC, it isn't coming out.
If it is on LARC, it doesn't mean it will come out

The 2023/2024 catalogue will be out soon.

You theory isn't far off.
DHS does make rubbers for many brands. Many top tier TT brands in the world.

Yinhe does have their own factory.
Loki too, but if they do subcontract. I wouldn't know that.
Loki claims they also OEM (subcontractors) for many tier 1 brands. I would believe in the hobby range part of things.

Loki's factory tour I did via a video call, looks way too big for just the limited offering they have. They did tell me they are huge in OEM. And was more a OEM maker in the past and now focusing more on they own branded goods.

Sanwei is on TTD, you can ask her there.
other brands that have 1 or 2 or 3 rubbers. I do believe they are OEM by DHS or other makers

right now I'm a tight-budget player so the best I could afford is Target Pro blue or BD1 prov version lol
if you want to spend and buy a proper blue sponge - all, 22# sponge (all those outside to me is just copy cats), the provincial is good enough

How does RX3 pink play ? I wanna try that rubber on my BH to replace Glayzer09c

I'm using it on my BH,
Its good enough for me.

There are times where I feel the topsheet quality is not good enough and the topsheet can't grip my ball and gives a squeaking sound and the ball sinks downwards.
But when the ball does sink into the topsheet/sponge, it is very enjoyable to use.
I use H8-80 prior to Pink.

For its price vs performance, Rxton III Pink is pretty good.
I suspect, if you don't hit that hard, you probably won't have that squeaking sound.

I'm going to test a few more sheets, before sending my findings to Loki

Is Rxton 3 Pink similar in style and function as H8-80?

Can you ask or find out which rubbers Loki made for other brands? that would be very interesting to know.

Anyways I'm really rooting for the Loki brand. I like their marketing and branding, I like their colorful packages, and I love their rubber performance.

Hm... No and Yes
Hurricane quality is way better.
Both are designed as backhand rubbers.

Can you ask or find out which rubbers Loki made for other brands? that would be very interesting to know.

I'm sure this is not information for the public domain.
They actually told me on the video call, but it wasn't really important info, so I didn't really record it too seriously.

Anyways I'm really rooting for the Loki brand. I like their marketing and branding, I like their colorful packages, and I love their rubber performance.

They copy Xiom in the design part. Xiom is one unique and niche design company, maybe the best out of the past 10 years.
So, good company to copy.

The 'cake' sponges used on the 'Arthur' really reminded me of some the Xiom sponges, Both made in Germany, so probably ESN.
Gotta get me a sheet of LAC!!! looks like its the best of the series!!

But in a simple description, how do they play? I would call Rxton 5 a very hard, tacky rubber similar to H3 but slightly bouncier.

I used to have Rxton 1, which I would call a softer and toned down H3, like H3 37. Not fast, but not too dead either.

I've never tried Rxton 3 or pink/blue
I have Rxton 1 on one side of the blade, Tibhar Stratus Power wood, and Rxton 3 blue on the other side. Then I have Rxton 3 pink on another blade, also Tibhar Stratus Power wood, and Rxton 5 on the other side.

Rxton 1 plays clearly softer. I have to change my bat angle quite a bit to accommodate that. The sponge feels like. I do think it is more for beginner and intermediate players.

Rxton 3 pink, Rxton 3 blue and Rxton 5 feel about the same. I will need to spend more time with those two blades later to give more informed opinions. Right now I am busy testing different carbon blades.

I can tell, looking at the sponge, Stiga Genesis first generation was made by DHS. The weird thing is the sponge is tensor like and the top sheet loses tackiness very very fast. I did not know DHS knows how to make rubber like that!

Loki does a lot of OEM. From the way the product looks, Loki does OEM for Killerspin for sure. Some pre-made rackets on sales on Amazon looks to be OEM made by Loki.
