Yes I did. I think you could get rich doing this brush/lid assembly and charge Haifu for fixing all their broken products ;)
Well, yes, but of course the reason I charge so much is in the hope that everybody will refuse to give me any work because the charges are so enormously high 🤣

Got the Bloom Power 2.2 H47 - It's looking great with that purple sponge, feels like it's the same sponge of Battle 2 Gold. Topsheet is very tacky.

And now the Moon 12 Blue Medium hard - it has the most beautiful packaging for a Chinese rubber I've seen in my life - although it's medium hard I still feel the sponge soft, maybe around 38 degrees

I will glue those 2 rubbers next week, after I break this 5th sheet of LAC (currently it has survived the 3rd day). Pressing the rubber down by hand it feels the same as 40d Battle 2

But if they do, you'll be rich and can buy as many Rxton V as you want :)

That's true , however I do have about 8 or10 still in the cupboard and about the same amount on various blades. 😁

Now from the funny part to the more serious one:
Loki seems to be going to the dogs.
Inconsistency is not something us customers are quick to forgive.
There is slight variation in different factory runs which is forgivable but
going from "very hard" to "hard" and now to about a "H35" , this together
with the diminishing tackiness will make us do our shopping elsewhere.

I also got some of the earlier versions of H3 and Neos still in my larder
and a couple of nights ago at the club I had so much hard work doing BH flips
with the R5 but did alright with the H3 .

Just going through this thread one can see that many of us are experimenting with many different brands and rubbers so all I can say is : "Careful Loki it is a tough world" and we are not
in Bangkok here, where at least the girls always promised to "" love you longtime"" 🤣🤣🤣

After about 15 hours, Rxton 5 feels so good to me now to the point that I start considering buying it in bulk and stick to it for the entire season. I am pretty sure I have the new soft version that @TensorBackhand doesn't like but it works for me. It has the right balance between tackiness and bounciness and it's relatively light for a Chinese rubber (~65g uncut IIRC).

Did you boost it?

I've been playing with it, and I can win games with it, it just doesn't have the spin and control and hardness that I want. But for people who are used to tensor rubbers, it certainly isn't terrible by any means.

Anyways, I got $10 refund so I paid $2 for it basically. It's not terrible to just have something sitting around to glue on when you need a spare rubber.

No boosting. My Rxton 5 is definitely harder than rasanter r47, but softer than 39d target provincial 3. Probably closest to Jupiter 3 38d, but a tad harder.

I can understand it might not be as spinny as you want (dunno what level of spin you are looking for, boosted national hurricane 3?), it meets my expectations of a tacky Chinese rubber. What do you mean by not having control?

I feel it doesn't grip the ball enough on hard shots, it also doesn't create enough arc. So I just find it hard to execute a lot of FH shots.

Are you gonna test the Rxton 7 and 9 when they come out?

Maybe you are used to very tacky rubber? With Rxton 5 I find it loops best when I manage to engage the sponge slightly.

I already have ~20 unopened rubbers waiting for me, it will take me 2 years to get to Rxton 7 or 9 :D On the other hand, I don't think they are coming out anytime soon, at least not 2023. On Chinese internet, LOKI is very focused on promoting the Arthur series, no news about Rxton 7 or 9. But @Tony's Table Tennis would know better than me.

Weren't people saying that they would come out next month or something?

What are your 20 unopened rubbers?

Why not try some of the other recommended Chinese rubbers instead of putting all your eggs into Rxton 5.

"some of the other recommended Chinese rubbers" are already purchased, including Big Dipper, Battle 2 provincial (orange), Arthur China. I have some hybrids as well like Rakza Z Extra Hard, triple double extra, PK50.

Buying Rxton 5 in bulk is unlikely to happen unless I manage to sell my rubbers, but I could do everything I know to a level that I am satisfied with, to the point that I don't think a more expensive rubber can get significantly better in all areas. With rasanters my loops get better at the expense of my short game. With more classic tacky rubbers like Target Provincial, it is too heavy and exhausting for me. Maybe one of the hybrids could be the solution.

You need to try Bloom Power and Jupiter 3 (maybe 39d for you). Both are excellent. Oh yeah and Loki GTX is awesome.

Nah, if it is stamped as H41 on the sponge, but is in reality H38, that just doesn't seem right to me.
Sure if it says 41 it should be a 41 but this is just one problem.
For us, the individuals, numbers in the end become completely irrelevant because
when the rubber , or the rubber/blade -combo is doing what you want it to do it
means we are in TT-paradise. 😇

Even if sponge hardness is completely accurate, we still don't know how the topsheet will behave, which is another big factor on how a rubber will feel.

So after today I have to put my 2 months old fh sheet in the trashcan^^ After 2 months usage i finally managed to bubble several small spots in the middle of the sheet and i could feel it. Surprisingly the balls i hit with it, didnt die off of the rubber, but they behaved wildly in several other ways. Some went flying as i would have smashed them upwards, but with a huge arc, and some shot straight of the racket as i was smashing them, although i performed a loop :O

Onto the next sheet. If thats the average survivability time of the rubber i might reevaluate my judgement of the lac.
2 months for 25€ might be okish or good for this performance but not so overwhelmingly as ive stated it before.
