So after today I have to put my 2 months old fh sheet in the trashcan^^ After 2 months usage i finally managed to bubble several small spots in the middle of the sheet and i could feel it. Surprisingly the balls i hit with it, didnt die off of the rubber, but they behaved wildly in several other ways. Some went flying as i would have smashed them upwards, but with a huge arc, and some shot straight of the racket as i was smashing them, although i performed a loop :O

Onto the next sheet. If thats the average survivability time of the rubber i might reevaluate my judgement of the lac.
2 months for 25€ might be okish or good for this performance but not so overwhelmingly as ive stated it before.
What is your budget for a rubber in € per hour?

Personally I expect (£*2) hours for my FH rubber and (£*3) hours for my BH rubber.

I agree, even when bubbled up when you hit a dead spot it doesn't 100% do something weird, it's like a 20% weird and 80% the same as normal. If one can get 2 months out of it I think it's reasonable.

That is actually a bit more in depth thought in terms of the rubbers worth, than i did up to date.
But to follow your thought: LAC got be around 72 hours of playtime that would be 0,35€ per hour.
That would be actually quite fine compared to the t05 of my trainingpartner which dies in around 4 months which would be around 0,42€ per hour.
But that all depends on the sheets ahead too, because if one dies off in 1-2 weeks, than the value drops big time.

Maybe ill switch the sheets i have on the pro 01 because they already survived 3 trainings, and i actually do like the sword vsea more.

I will glue those 2 rubbers next week, after I break this 5th sheet of LAC (currently it has survived the 3rd day). Pressing the rubber down by hand it feels the same as 40d Battle 2
I have Bloom Arc(it really lacks arc) 47. And 2 sheets of Battle 2 Gold. I can say BA 47's sponge is much softer than the B2 Gold's. Comparing BA 47 to H3BS Nat 41: H3 has softer topsheet but harder sponge and overall they feel about the same. So maybe just my B2 Gold is a bad sheet that is rock hard and I can say it is almost non tacky

If you admit that your English-writing is rubbish, I let you get away with this sentence.
If you can't admit to it, I absolutely want to know how you boost the hard top-sheet :LOL::LOL:

lol sorry I mean the sponge is hard and dense, and the topsheet is also hard - maybe that explains the rubber's longevity

Tough top and tough sponge would definitely be helping towards a long life.
I remember a discussion, it was which H3 provincial would be the preferred choice, orange sponge or blue and the orange hard sponged version came out on top. It was better to control when boosting and held its performance longer.
I stick my neck out here and state that this might be valid for the Loki rubbers as well.

I am losing track of the discussion so far. The thread is getting long!!!!

I have only used H3 commercial orange. Longevity has NOT been an issue. I am tempted to try blue provinicial H3 but not $60 tempted. I am pretty happy with my $18 H3 commercial.

Recently, I have transferred Rxton 3 pink and Rxton 3 blue to my carbon blades. Quite frankly. Not impressed. Not much if any catapult effect. Hard top sheet. Hard sponge. Feels dead to me. No longer using both rubbers. They will go on my fool around 5-ply wood blades soon.

As for Rxton 1 plus with black carbon sponge, I like it! For $12-$13 a sheet, it is pretty good. The black carbon sponge is soft so it is on the back of a very fast carbon blade I am trying to tame. If I don't do an active shot (like looping with it), I do tend to block the ball into the net. I am willing to give Rxton 1 plus more time to see if I like it.

Have not been tempted to get LAC yet. For $25 a sheet for LAC on Aliexpress, the price point is not very enticing for me when I can get hurricane in bulk from TT11 for $18-$20 a sheet.

God, another subtle change in Loki rubbers. My Rxton 1 Plus (black) has blue sponge, and I thought the red one has pink sponge. But I also like that one

Yes I only have one sheet of Rxton 1 plus, black. It has black "carbon" sponge (whatever that carbon means; I think it is just marketing). I bought mine from BEO store.

I have looked and I have seen those Rxton 1 plus with pink/red sponge. The price point is exactly the same. I am confused by that as well.

But at this moment, it is not like Rxton 1 plus is wowing me so much that I cannot wait to get another sheet.

Obviously at the end of the day, price point matters. For me, I am set on H3 on forehand. I am still trying to find that perfect backhand rubber. For $12-$13 a sheet, I am willing to give it a shot.

However, when C-1 and Rakza 7 soft is at the $31-$33 range, I am not willing to take chance on any rubber in the $20's range for my backhand. But if the backhand rubber is in the $6-$7 range (Ak-47 and CJ8000) or in the $12-$13 range (Rxton 1 plus), then I would be interested.

As an aside I ordered AK-47 and CJ8000 from BEO store on July 9th, and I still have not received them as of today. Don't know what is going on with that order. Per Aliexpress tracking that shipment has NOT even made it out of China yet. Maybe I will have to end up disputing that purchase. Who knows? I just have to keep on waiting.

back to your original post, did you find Rxton 3 color versions harder than H3? With or without boosting? Also what's the hardness of your H3?

I use H3 39 degree. Yes I find the Rxton 3 blue and pink to be harder than H3. It might have something to do with the top sheet. Both Rxton blue and pink, I boosted the heck out of it but still little to no catapult effect. So I gave up. Maybe their top sheets are just hard, making the rubber as a whole too dead for my liking.

Actually Globe 999 is also not a bad rubber - if you can still get them
Lol, I have a red Globe 999 lying around. I played Globe 999 growing up when I was a penholder as the only rubber (I was Jpen for a while). I need to put that on a carbon blade then.

I bought one from BEO store 3 months ago for old time's sake. In my head, I equate it to friendship 729 which I also played with growing up.

I have not thought about putting Globe 999 on my backhand side. Thanks for the suggestion!
