you found the truest words right there - the Moon forgives Everythinggg - now I can block my opponents' killshot which I normally can't, I can block the balls even when I'm out of position, so strangeSlower in my experience. Less bounce and lower topspeed. I would say it is has the same spin capabilities. So you should be able to perform the same quality of shots, just overall slower if you are able to topout G-1, which is not so ez on bh though.
In terms of price Moon 12 is less than 2/3 of G-1 in my country. 24€ compared to 37-41 for the G-1.
So which one i would pick up - probably Moon 12 until i am good enough. Then i would pick Loki Arthur China xD
But i still see the quality of a G-1 and i played that rubber for quite some time on different setups, although mostly on vis-clones.
What i try to say is - G-1 is a bit harder to control but way more rewarding for good technique. Moon 12 forgives soooooo much and you can almost block everything.
It has less spin capacity, but that's a good thing, I won't have to worry about over-spin the ball, that is to say I can control how much spin I make, or no spin at all. This rubber is all about control, the Moon shines upon us all
