You are making LAC sound like a piece of garbage, when in reality it's freaking amazing for its price.
actually it is overpriced. It costs more than H3 and twice the price of Rxton5 and it's not better than any of them

Dingtian is a fair bit more expensive. I think it is more expensive than Neo H3 on Aliexpress?
I only found Dingtian in 1 shop at aliexpress, the China Tabletennis shop. He calls it PROVINCIAL because of the blue sponge and charges twice as much as Prince TT

Yeah I agree. LAC is much harder. But LAC is a lot more catapulty than unboosted H3, and might still be faster than boosted H3, but I'm not sure.

Boosted H3 has better feeling and is softer.
Which H3 hardness as benchmark?
I can not say that LAC is faster, softer or harder as a boosted H3. This depends a) on the h3 hardness. B) the booster you used c) the amount of booster you used.
Sometimes with 2 layers of seamoon on a 39 H3 forehand topspin’s are flying out, with unboosted LAC I had no issues with the length. So in my opinion it is similar to a 40 degree H3 boosted with 1 layer of haifu.
I play h3 in all forms for more than a decade.

My lac is listed as 41d, but it is quite harder than my 41d H3.

Where are you getting your LAC and H3? LAC is cheaper both on Aliexpress and in China (PDD).

Interesting, i had the exact opposite experience. Normally i play H3 neo 39deg FH with 2 layers of seamoon, and when trying the LAC i had problems with the balls flying, going both longer and higher.

With my current experience i would say the reason for that is that the rubber vary a little bit from batch to batch but get more equal to each other the longer it is used.

My current fh sheet looks actually the same as the ones @longle posted (boosted look, pimple visible, little bit more glossy). And it was definitly on high tension out of the box. Not sure how long this one will live ^^

I will test rxton 9 soon, and if i can get to like it (and it will sustain longer) i will probably switch my fh, but will stick with lac on bh because it is a more amateur friendly d09c imo. Slight lower arc, less bounce but speed and spin are great.
I suppose the weaker bh shots dont hurt the rubber enough to "break" it.

My apologies, it is quite some time I have bought H3s and i still got a stash of the good old sticky ones. I just checked the price of them at Ali and was shocked but also pleased that my rubbers in the cupboard are better than money in the bank.
Summing up : LAC is now pretty much the same price as H3 commercial but still nearly twice as much as Rxton5

OOHHH ! I so remember the good old days of 2021 😂😂😂

How familiar this is to me. 15 years ago I played with a hurricane, when it was not yet mainstream, and many twisted their fingers at their temples, wondering how I could play with this hard galoshes 😁. Back then it was one of the cheapest rubbers, only Dawei was cheaper.

Sounds like a great rubber. I kinda wish you didn't boost it, so we could learn how it plays unboosted, but I'll just have to wait for others to do so. Is it more or less tacky compared to the H3 you played with?
My copy of the Rxton 9 plays similar to an unboosted H3. Even though it is factory boosted, I will boost it with Seamoon. The tackiness is about as strong/weak as the newer surface of the H3.

BTW, have we ever arrived at a satisfactory conclusion why lots of chinese rubbers are now coming to us with much less stickiness than before ?????

Thats interesting...i glued mine without boosting to a V7rs blade & speed wise it plays & feels like a boosted h3, i have a month old Lac on the other side & the speed its pretty close, a little bit harder/less bouce.

Spin its great even though it isnt extreamly Tacky. It can lift the ball for a couple seconds, a bit tackier than my LAC, Reactor thunder its tackier.

Yesterday i hitted some amazing shots vs underspin, i had that new rubber placebo effect lol, i just felt i couldnt miss.

Counter topspin close to the table felt great too. Touch play & serving Is easy like other Tacky topsheets.

Overall i had a great first impresion, i think with one or 2 More layers of seamoon it should play even better, topsheet seems of great quality.
Tomorrow i will use it on a tournament, i will report how it goes.

My Guess Is market report or something similar, before some people found H3N comercial came tackier than National for example, and also some pro players like malong seem to reduce new rubber tackiness by rubbing on clothes or something like that. I asumme now all Versions of H3 came at similar tackiness.

Hm i cant really confirm that so far. Got 2 sheets and had my first swings with one them yesterday. Dont want to run to any deep conclusions so far, besides that this sheet is extremely tacky and definitly harder than lac.
Currently i am testing both unboosted on my test setup with pro 01. The setup weighs 200g which is nearly the same as the main one.

Reporting back on Rxton9 after the Tournament: i Lost a close semi final match against a much higher ranking player. Serve & receive pretty good, I took my chances & hit some high risk Fh pivots & 3rd ball attacks.

i didnt feel my balls were lacking speed (for reference i was using Lac on Fh just before glueing the new Rxton9) so im not sure ir boosting would really change anything, maybe just 1 More layer. Rubber Is hard but quite dynamic, i overshoot a Lot of shoots due to bad timing.
Overall i didnt play that well but still survived until Semis.

I must admit that LAC on BH carried me through a Lot of points cause i was blocking quite a bit while being defensive, and short play Is spinny to bother opponents.

Both rubbers performance was Stable through the Tournament, Rxton9 Is not extreamly Tacky, & it performs well even with some dust lol😅
I Will keep it like this to see if it breaks in even More without boosting, then maybe a couple layers to revive it.

I also played 2 tournaments yesterday with LAC and RXTON 9.

The RXTON 9 was very nice for my FH, felt really good and gave me complete confidence in the rubber.
The LAC on the otherhand, was really not for me. Normally my BH loops and openups are my biggest strength, but with the LAC it became a weakness. I had no feeling with the rubber, and it also seemed to lack a lot of grip.
I had about 10 balls where i just looked dumbfounded at the rubber after a loop that didnt clear the net, it really made no sense at all.

For the afternoon tournament i changed sides, playing with the LAC in FH, and RXTON 9 on BH. The RXTON 9 worked suprisingly well on my BH as well, much better than the LAC. Not really a fan of the LAC on the FH either.

So never buying LAC again, RXTON 9 there is a good chance i might stick with it.

Did you boost Rxton9? What blade did you use? Also what its your usual BH rubber?
