Kirin series seems to be the non-tacky softer sponge equivalent of the Rxton series.

Both Kirin 1 and 3 are supposedly 37d. Kirin 1 has kunlun sponge, Kirin 3 has the Carbon sponge.
Loki are also going to release (or have released) Kirin range pips out rubbers: short, medium & long.
Can you share links to this information? Chinesse forum? What Larc number they use? I also saw some new premade rackets with Zhou Yu as the player & Rxton VII rubbers, but ofc premade rackets rubbers can't be trusted 🤣

Why do you think it is equivalent to the Rxton series?

Kirin 1 seems to use the same Kunlun sponge as Rxton 1 but with a non tacky topsheet, I didn't see the Kirin 3 but I if it's equivalent to Rxton 3 it should use the more porous cake Negh sponge (maybe the black like T3) previously they had a non tacky Rxton 3 ( I think it was the TOP blue package).
Kirin series it's their cheapest series of blades so maybe they want to push that naming for beginners / entry level products? Its Hard to tell, they are experimenting a lot with branding, updating old rubbers packaging designs (Rxton line, T3 carbon/speed) making new t shirts designs & cases etc. They also keep signing players & embassadors 🤷🤣😵‍💫🏓

Isn't the Telson 100 rubber also the Kunlun sponge?

I have found that the Kunlun sponge is their best one, LAC, Rxton 3, Arthur Asia all perform very well.

The Rxton 1 Kunlun sponge isn't as good, but not bad either.

Yes they have different types and maybe just the treatments make a big difference. Kunlun has "medium" size pores, negh is more Cake style with bigger pores, and loxa is high density more "Chinesse style" sponge.

The Kirin graphics remind me of the Telson 100, so I was thinking maybe the Kunlun is similar to the Telson 100. If so, I would definitely be interested.

If it is indeed just a un-tacky Rxton 1, then not so special.

I doubt they will compete with their "highend" new grippy rubber with a cheaper series...

You're correct re: the quality of rubbers on their pre-made blades. They're only really for casual ping-pong players only (not competition use) are aimed largely at their domestic market.

Re: Kirin pips-out rubbers -- that info came from the latest sales brochure Loki sent me about a month back (see screenshots below). I checked today with my Loki sales rep on them and she says they're still in production and aren't available for sale just yet.

I've also asked about the 45 degree version of the Telson 100. I really think highly of the T100 but it's not the right rubber for my current game personally, and it's partially because of that very hard sponge. Apparently the 45 degree isn't publically available just yet either, but my Loki contact said they'd chase it up with the factory and let me know when it's available for play testing.
