I read in another thread that Loki Arthur Europe could be compared to Rakza Z, is that true?

But then I also wonder, if the Loki Rxton 3 Pro could be even closer to ESN hybrid rubbers?

Or should I just choose Loki Arthur Europe if I want a Loki rubber that's most similar to ESN hybrids?
Arthur Europe is far from hybrid. Arthur China is what is the closest to ESN hybrid. Or Telson 100 heavily boosted.

Rxton 3 is not bouncy at all, it's a H3 clone variation, so very far from ESN hybrid.

So you're saying that the Arthur Europe is just like any regular ESN rubber, and if I'm looking for a hybrid, I should choose the Arthur China, right?

Arthur Europe is the opposite of a ESN rubber. It's sponge is very hard, supposedly more than 50º ESN.

Acccording to some people on forums, Arthur China is the closest to hybrid. Personally, I don't know, the only hybrid I played with is Codexx 52, so the sample is too short to compare.

Is anybody tried Arthur C?
I tried it and it seemed very mediocre. Felt like the same incredibly hard sponge that my Rxton 3 Pink has, but unlike the tacky topsheet of the Pink, Arthur C is completely non-tacky and barely grippy. Wasn't good for much outside of flat smashes. For context, I've read some mixed reviews on the sponge hardness of Rxton 3 pink, but my copy is significantly harder than LAC, Rxton 9 40.5 deg, and H3 40 deg.

See what i mean ? Loki = Total confusion 😂
Is it on the back of the packing ??

the problem continues because they advertise it as hardness being 40 and i don't like soft BH rubbers.

Maybe i misunderstand : Do you mean to say : " LAC Pro is harder than R9 39 deg. " ?????????????
I'm using the symbols as greater than (>) and less than (<) to indicate which side is harder. LAC Pro is significantly softer than regular LAC. R9 39 deg is harder than LAC Pro, but softer than LAC and H8-80 37 deg. I'm totally confused by LAC and H8-80 now because I've compared my multiple copies against a friend's and they are all quite different. His LAC is much harder than mine (I think his is a dud), and my H8-80 37 deg is much harder than his (I think mine is a dud).

Rxton 9 "Athlete Special" edition has appeared: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005011730580851.html

@mattlamperouge do you have any information about this one? Wondering how it differs from the original rxton 9
No idea but Red 37.5deg probably marketed as a BH rubber and New Black 39 or 40 to replace Rxton9 as top of the line FH rubber.. they registered a new mold and larc number so there is a chance of a updated topsheet.. best case scenario normal Rxton9 at lower price🤣🤑

i bought the new loki rxton 9 pro and will compare against the normal one (both with one layer of booster).
bought it on alibaba for 25€ incl shipping, so still a cheap rubber.

i was interested since they invented a new topsheet for this one and i always felt that, after the boosting effect is gone, the old topsheet felt a bit weird and i could not have the same confidence ripping half long balls as with a fresh boosted one. and since i only used 39° there was not so much space for reboosting since it would get too mushy too fast.

l looking forward to your review
rxton 9 is nice but I didnt like the topsheet feeling that much. a bit rigid, and didnt grab the ball as nicely as h3

maybe it will be better with the pro version

first look at rxton 9 pro 39°:
the most notable difference is that it is really elastic! kinda feels like an hybrid esn sheet in hand, but very hard around 57 esn scale. don't get me wrong here, it is still dead like a chinese rubber with no bounce at all and you will need booster, but i can imagine they have a new sponge next to the new topsheet too. the topsheet is less sticky like the newer hurricane 3, but still not grippy (so maybe not an alternative for @doppelmoral).

first play it felt like a more exaggerated version of the normal rxton 9. more dead, more power and harder without feeling stiff like other chinese rubbers - so you get more feeling for the ball. it did not solve the problem i had with the old version, so i will test some other rubbers first and come back to that later, but if you liked the first version and need more power without loosing feel - try it.

Is rxton 7 really good or am I just imagining things? I got a sheet in 40deg and it's quite delicious to use. Not just good for the money but like it's really really good. It has very good bounce and catapult, the topsheet feels very nice and elastic. It gives me like K3 vibes with more Chinese feeling but not that much more. It's almost like a sticky ESN rubber with a better topsheet. I think I like it more than LAC, maybe more than K3 too.
Not very heavy either, 51g cut to normal blade, the grip and stick is just right, the bounce and catapult are very noticable. Totally playable on BH side too even in 40degs, doesn't feel that hard.
I have it on an ALC blade with a very hard top ply, and it feels super sharp. Maybe the fault tolerance is not that high but so far I don't want to complain about that either.
The topsheet is similar to STN in a way but the sponge is more bouncy, so the total feeling of the rubber is more like K3 or similar ESN rubbers. For sure it feels more bouncy than Donic C2, so maybe Dragon Grip is the closest but I have more memory of K3 and C2.

Quite unexpected since Rxton9 should be the flagship rubber? For sure that is meant to be boosted but even then I didn't like it at all, but Rxton7 is just great out of the pack without any booster.
It's pretty cheap too almost half price of LAC so I am very amazed.

On Ali, for me, they and LAC cost the same plus or minus.
