Hello,
a friend of mine is defender. He uses on BH a Feint Long III red 1,3mm since many years.
Some months ago he purchased 2 new rubbers, He mounted the first one and began with the usual training, but the pimples worked different and the playing with it was absolut different!
As first, the pimples seems more harder by touching. Also by doing the defending strokes the ball doesn't grip as it should be, simply less. By chopping softly the ball falls, it doesn't create the usual attended parable and spin, also by doing short chops (cuts) on the table, the rubber doens't creat spin like a dryed rubber!
Meaning that it could be a quality problem of the rubber (never had!) he mounted a second new Long III and the result... was the same!
Ha has inquired BTY Italy, but the answers were...
My question to you all Long III users: have you ever had some problem like this described above? What was the reason? How you have managed the problem?
Let me ask another question: what other alternatives do you suggest? Are this alternatives really similar to Long III?
Many thanks in advance for your suggestions!!!!
