C55 has a semi-tacky topsheet and a fine-pore sponge. Don't know about Nuzn 55, but Nuzn 50 has a completely non-tacky topsheet and a fine-pore sponge very similar to the one on Tibhar Hybrid MK Pro. Very different rubbers imo, especially in terms of superficial topsheet durability.

C55 durability is not even close to D09C.

I played with C55 I think 5 weeks during the season, the removed it, after season put it on again, and I got 3-4 weeks of it. Even outside looking players recognized there is less spin. So not only it was worn, but it also lost the spin very seriously. I am writing this mostly to balance the shit I read here, of course mine is just as personal as yours ;-)

The top-sheet and overall feeling is also very different from D09C, at least for me. I like C55 much more, but perf/price ratio is bad. Actually what would interest me if someone could compare NUZN 55 with it, I think it was @vvk1 who said the durability is excellent.

Thanks for the info. I was almost about to order a C55. Thanks for stopping me 🤣🤣

You said you like C55 much more than D09C. Which aspects appeal to you the most?

My intention was not to stop you... Imo, it's a rubber which is worth trying, but people may be disappointed, if they expect D09C durability...

In compare to D09C the C55 has softer, more elastic, top-sheet, is my feeling. That is what I like (in compare) the most. The sponge is not completely the chinese dense sponge, which I am used to and I like, but still pleasant - and also, it's more dynamic (I boost chinese sponge only lightly). If the durability were better, I'd go for the C57.5 for FH now.

With D09C in shots into which I can't put more power, I dislike the feeling. But it's obviously great rubber, and I know people, both better and worse than me, who play with it - even though I don't get it. It is just not my preference...

Haven’t played with C55, but NUZN 55 durability seems to be really excellent as I’ve played for almost a month with it and still plays and looks almost the same as beginning

I would not say Nuzn is non tacky. My 55 has some stick to it, but definitely way less than H3 and a little less than 09c. But it is definitely not completely non tacky

Well, perhaps N55 has a different topsheet than N50. I'm on my second N50 sheet and neither was/is tacky/sticky/whatever at all. Very grippy - yes, tacky - nope.

Man, I've got to learn from you how to take care of my rubber. 3 weeks in, and my DFVP black already bubbled at the worst spot, the upper middle.

C55 has average durability, D09C is above average. However, D09C does not last 2x as long, and I can get C55 for less than half the price of D09C (and I prefer the way C55 plays) so the durability argument is a no-brainer for my needs. Everyone's needs vary, of course.

I use Rev3 cleaner on all my hybrids and it does a great job of keeping that slight tack going for months on end. It's great with D09C too.

Hi, believe me or not equipments depend on player. Really. I ve looked to revspin a lot. Do not follow the hype sometimes. If some people say the equ, pment is not good then I say maybe it is good. Look to comments, really :)

I don’t think it does have a different topsheet but that’s very interesting indeed 🤷‍♂️

I just follow simple rubber care, always use protective film and case, breathe on your rubber and wipe with hand to clean, never use any rubber cleaner or water to clean because I feel it will lessen the grip or durability imo, your breath and hand is always better

3 week old C55 (9 x 2 hour practice sessions plus a 2 day tournament, 15 matches). Still very playable.

Comparison of the above 3 week old C55 vs 2.5 week old Dignics 09C (8 x 2 hour practice sessions plus a 1 day tournament, 6 matches):

Unless you see the player and how they hit the ball, discussing durability and rubber care is relative. By the way, my rubners look like trash and people tell me to clean them with rubber cleaner but I still get great spin from them so I have realized that optics beat performance for too many.
