First time boosting

I'm buying H3 Neos for forehand and backhand on my Viscaria and I'm looking to boost for the first time. I looked at the how-to boost videos on YouTube but got super confused due to everyone using different methods.

I am thinking of applying the boost on the factory layer, then letting it dry for 24 hours, applying another layer, waiting for 24 hours and then glueing. Is this right?
