I don't understand how you understand it. Asian Cup is not an important tournament. Unless he reaches 7th set in a WTTC or World Cup we can not see he is improved or not.

Honestly? Denominate Zhang Jike for the world cup and send those two.

Seriously? Zhang Jike has already been denominated twice from his hard earned right to play in World Cup, once in 2012 and once in 2013, and you want to strip him the third time? Don't you want to watch a Zhang Jike vs Ma Long final in a grand slam tournament? As far as I know, not many chances left, maybe one World Championships (2015), 2-3 World Cup (2014, 2015, 2016), and one Olympic Games (2016).
