The Rxton 9 is factory boosted IIRC. Very high tack levels and a very fast rubber -- it's spin & grip remind me a little bit of a Xiom Tau 2.

The Rxton 7 however isn't factory boosted so it's a bit slower, but apparently you can buy a booster from Xiom Loki specifically made for it. One of my Chinese buddies says the R7 is quite popular in China but is usually boosted.

Without booster the R7 is slightly less tacky than the R9, but naturally has LOTS more dwell time to its top sheet -- It kind of feels a bit like a hurricane 2 to me in that regard.

Personally I love the R9 over the R7 for my FH looping game, but greatly prefer the R7 when it comes to serving. (The dwell time & spin you can get serving with the R7 is downright diabolical! 😈😈😈 I just bloody luuurrrrrve serving with that puppy!!
So I'm still learning many things, I would say I'm more of a beginner, in that case do you think that the rxton 7 (unboosted) would be better than the rxton 9 ?

tks! My lack of power is more on the backhand, I tested rxton 9 and liked for fh, just one last quetion, i`ve read some reviews about the Hurricane 8-80 (soft) if you have tested this rubber could you give me your opinion about speed, spin and control comparing it to the GA8 (47.5) ?
Speed is much lower than GA8. In your case, it wouldnt be a good choice.

Spin might be higher with the tacky topsheet. But GA8 is no spin slouch either, its just a grippy topsheet.

Control on bh might be worse for most people if you struggle to impart power. Control is more subjective and depends more on how the rubber matches the user's technique

I tried out the boosted rxton 9 today. I quite like it. The speed is like medium-high and definitely faster than H3. It still maintains the high dwell time and excellent grab on the ball.

Looping feels both safe and powerful.

I think boosted Rxton 7 is a touch faster, but rxton 9 feels more stable and reliable.

Personally I'd say yes.

I've used both rubbers a fair bit -- both are excellent in my view, but the R7 is a bit more user friendly. The R9 is the faster of the two and is therefore a bit harder to control.

I don't boost my rubbers so I can only comment on their factory performance.

What about loki arthur china, I see many people saying its good and better than rxton 9 and 7, and its one of your rubbers so could you give me your opinion ?
They are similar. LAC has a bit more natural speed.

Rxton 9 has more dwell time.

Rxton 7 is most forgiving, softest

I would pick LAC, because I like the extra power.

But Rxton 9 would be best if you generate your own power.
Thanks so much! I will get the LAC for my fh, if I could borrow your knowledge I bit more could give me opinions about bh ? I was thinking of buying the GA8 but its too expensive here, could you give me some recomendations ? ( my backhand is pooery bad )

I would recommend either AK47 Red, Moon 12, or Telson 100 for bh. All are quite bouncy, good for punching and blocking.

I've already tested ak47 red and for me its too fast and the throw angle is just to low, most of my shots were not passing the net, never heard about the Moon 12 and Telson could you compare them with H3 neo and big dipper ? ( on chinese rubbers I've played sorry )
