Glue sheets or Glue?

Which do you think is better at holding the rubbers onto the blade? I've used sheets before on the LP rubber that I use on my backhand, but always used glue on my inverted forehand rubber. It's only ever the FH rubber that seems to start coming loose around the edges. Does anyone use glue sheets on both sides instead of glue? Do sheets change the playing characteristics of the rubber in any way? I change my rubbers about once every 7/8 weeks and I always buy new rubbers so when I fix a rubber on a blade, I want it to hold fast until I'm finished with that rubber - I don't want to have to be re-gluing a rubber every few weeks when it starts coming loose.

I'm using Andro Free Glue, is this considered a good quality glue?

Personally I use them exclusively now due to convenience, with glue my rubbers started coming up after 5 weeks with this never, also when it has come up a bit due to table contact I've pushed it down and it stuck as recently as last week and these rubbers have been on since easter. I don't know about playing differences though

When you take it off, does it feel dry and sort of like silicone? If yes, and if the rubber comes off too easily you may try other glues. Suga D says Revolution #3 High Viscosity holds really well. I have heard Butterfly FreeChak does as well.

I used to use Donic Vario Clean and will again because it remains sticky so you can just press the rubbers back on like what was said about the glue sheets. The downside of Vario Clean is that it is harder to remove when you want to do that. But, I usually don't remove glue unless the glue is uneven and got messed up.

The Andro glue is no use.. Sorry to say but it's a waste of money, you'll have to over use it to make anything stick :/

Butterfly FreeChack and Donic Vario Clean are both good, as Carl says :)

I had a feeling that may be be case but I have never used the Andro glue so I couldn't be sure. Thanks Anders.

The Andro also didn't stick well on my blades. I also tried the Andro Turbo fix, with nearly the same result, although it lasted a little longer than the free glue, but still came off on the edges after a while.
The Vario glue was way better, and actually quite good, if you don't plan to change rubbers, but it wasn't that easy to get off the sponge, which can be a pain in the neck, if you like to reglue your rubbers every once in a while. The Blue contact glue from Donic was more helpful on this. It also seems to be containing latex, cause if you spread on more than 2 layers, it also enhances the rubbers speed performance.
But as carl mentioned, IMHO the R3 had the best results in sticking und getting it off the sponge again.
And yes, it seems to smell pretty much like copydex. But so does also the soulspin connect speed... ;)
And the R3 is easier available than copydex (at least in my area).

Glue sheets are mostly used by choppers for ox rubbers (in the league i play).
