Someone did post this video in another thread.

It is an interesting video but I am not so sure this is about the mental game. I think the term "mental game" refers to a lot more than brain processing speed. The video does mention how you have to make decisions at a very high speed in table tennis. But the video doesn't cover the decision making and or a number of other things like strategy and mental toughness and the ability to stay focused and positive in the heat of the action.

Nevertheless, it is interesting to think about training and techniques that improve your processing speed which certainly could help a player's mental game.

So, for a higher level player, something to improve brain processing speed might be something like this:

The pace and the random element in the ball feeding would help a top pro see where the next ball was going faster. In other words, this would improve his processing speed. But there is other training that might help the decision making better. And still other stuff that would help many of the different aspects of the mental game including the type of work, off the table, that is the field of a sports psychologist.

USDC,

You are right on with organizing physical training to train the brain. You can work with a sport psychologist to do things like improve confidence, focus, and motivation, a good coach to work on tactics and strategy, but organizing practices like this multiball to improve reaction time and decision making is I think vital to progressing. Multiball (or any practice) will hone more than strokes, and can train the brain for optimal performance, too.

Does anyone else find themselves watching the guy feeding multiball. He has some mad skills.

Yeah, I think that looks to me like the most maniacal multi-ball feeder I have seen. There is another one of these random multi-ball sessions where he is feeding ZJK before the 2013 WTTC. I was looking for that one because it is even more crazy. That guy feeds a mean multi-ball.

Oh, no worries. The video is fun and gives great info into some of the skills you naturally develop in the process of learning to play table tennis. Knowing that in table tennis you can increase brain processing speeds by training is cool info.

This video focuses on the good things that good multiball can potentially train, but I think caution is also needed about the bad things that poorly designed drills can train. I was at a tournament this past weekend, and saw a few players who would make great practice partners, as they can counter forehands all day, but they can't play a point at all. Endless drilling can create bad habits if not accompanied by good decision making skills drilling, too. Perhaps it is a developmental stage, but these couple of players looked like their development may have been inhibited by too much static drilling.
